I think you mixed up my meaning. I suggest you get larger ants, or cover the air holes with extra fine mesh. Your welcome.

They ship live ants, and they eat the gel, but you cannot get queen ants, thats illegal

When you pick that up you will need a queen 2 and those are deep in da ground so a little hard to get. unless you catch one during the mating period. when you dont have a queen the ants normally die.

You need find your own ants. For a farm you need one queen and couple workers.
