I remember back in 87, when the Jays were in 1st place, then lost their final 7 games and Detroit won the AL East instead.... Cecil was a Jay, and in game 162, tried to steal 2nd base and was a dead duck !! Jimmy Williams gave Manny Lee the hit and run, and Manny kept the bat on his shoulders. Terrible play. But I liked Cecil, he was a good Blue Jay.

I saw him last night while taking out the garbage at my stadium, he said 'sup' to me after I nodded to him. While showing up the every Can-Am player in attendance, he hammered a bunch of homers out of rapidz stadium during batting practice, in rush hour. Little did those commuters know, the ball bouncing in front of them was a cecil fielder original.
