  • yeah. An eclipse that shows up once every day or two because of how huge Jupiter is compared to the distance to the planets. The moons move so fast, you can see the changes in just a few minutes. Any telescope would show the shadow and the 4 big moons.

  • great captures, especially the one with io right on the planet's limb. the animations would make a great instructional tool, showing the relationship of the moon's motion and the shadow, and how they're separate from jupiter's rotation.
