soo did you just speed up the video or is it a mod to speed up the whole thing to help with the hammer-on's/pull-off's?

Much easier than strumming. I do allow some of my strum sounds to get into the video to make it easier to figure out when I'm strumming and when I'm using Ho/Pos.
