He's the perfect hitman. Vin Diesel or Jason Stathem never cold play 47. His voice is perfect too. I don't know what you want. And I watched the movie 13x.

If you play the games, his character is an older European dude. I'm not knocking Timothy as an actor, or for the way he played his role.

I just agree with the critics that he's too young and too "cute" for 47. On the other hand, it was probably smart to enlist Olyphant for the role, since he'd be a better box-office draw than the grim and gaunt character he plays.
