@GlobalsoftPirka You're talking like HISTA is gone forever. Captain EO is only temporary, so I want to see it before it goes away again and have a true old-Epcot experience!
@DisneyfanBeckers I hope that's true. I know a few people who would rather it stayed there and HISTA was replaced forever, which makes me very sad. :(
@GlobalsoftPirka I asked a Cast Member at Epcot about it, and she said Captain EO would stay for about a year. And on the same night I found that out I also learned from another cast member that Kodak no longer sponsors Journey Into Imagination. Plus, I have seen posters and Vinylmation signs in Mouse Gear with the Dreamfinder, as well as a shirt with him at the JII gift shop.
@DisneyfanBeckers Awesome! Thanks for the great news!! <3 Not so much on the Dreamfinder thing, though...I hope the II isn't destroyed because of that... ):
@GlobalsoftPirka What is II? or what does it mean? Anyway a really great video of the original Journey Into Imagination is on youtube by Dragonrider1227. The first part is Journey Into Imagination PT 1, which can be found on the favorites list on my channel. From there or any video on a channel you can click the title to go to the video page.
@DisneyfanBeckers II = Imagination Institute. :P I've already seen the video of the original. I (please don't kill me) prefer the new one. I like the combination of magic and science that it creates.
@GlobalsoftPirka Since I have been a little kid I only knew the one that is there today. Then one summer in Minnesota my dad showed us the videos of the old one, and I love the artwork and how cute Figment used to sound! Now he sounds older and intentionally obnoxoius. I still love the ride anyway and wish that one day I can go upstairs where Imageworks used to be. I also have a Figment shirt and stuffed toy :)
Somehow I overlooked this until now...but I definitely recognize this from the attraction at WDW (which I assume is the same as the one at DL). Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
Very nice! I'd love to know if I could sneak a peek at your arrangement. I recently started working there, and it seems like this theme will be stuck in my head forever. LoL
Love this music. I hear this (or the ellen ride music) and immediately want to be in Epcot.
