I bought one and it is awesome, took me a while to learn how to do the sealing in bags. When I opened a jar of pickles or olives, can I vacuum seal this jar and put in the fridge? thanks
I purchased one of these specifically for the mason jars. I keep all of my spices in mason jars so this is wonderfully to extend their shelf life even further =)
I LOVED the infomercial when I was a kid. When I was like 5 or 6, I'd stay up all night in the summer and weekends watching them. Pum-n-Seal was my favorite by far
I have been trying to use this with no success at vacuum sealing some ground turkey in bags. I just reviewed instructions. I cannot get the sealing unit to stay in a upright position. When pumping, I hear a sucking sound and a little air is removed. Oh well. Lesson learned. Another piece of junk.
I can help you with this. It's a great device if you use it correctly. It took me a few times but I have mastered it and have been a happy customer for 4 years. Email me if you need tips and/or help.
I bought one after a friend showed me hers. It worked great!! Her secret after you run out of the tabs, she was using black electric tape for the tabs. It works!!!!!
This is the infomercial for the Pump-n-Seal, it is instructional as well. I have one and love it, I live 100% off grid and having something that uses people power (no electricity needed) is great for me.
I bought this many years ago. It works OK, but the jars are not made for poking the hole on top. The hole would rust after a few days and you end up with rust particles in the food inside the jar!
looks like such a hassle to use.. jeez.

In Portugal, the first announcement out of hours ...
Thus began the invasion of blind consumerism.
Sad to report that so ...
Pump and seal all consumerism!
