His second movie in 1984 was Splash and he did a movie almost every year after that and except for a few they were all comedys and even the dramas were funny. I think this is the first movie where he plays a completely serious role. He looks like he was made to be a killer.

i like everyone's interpretations of the scene where mr. rooney and michael are playing the piano duet :). i myself see it as the cause of the film's main conflict portrayed in one short scene. michael is the one next to mr. rooney, assisting him, helping him in his intentions whilst conner, mr. rooney's son, jealously glares from a distance.
