Man your tood good, your my inspiration whenever i feel like i need to go produce something and feel too lazy to, but, do you sample your drums from actuall songs? As in, do you take a song and chop out your drums?, or do you just gotta buncha preset packs you choose from?

@Phazeey Depends on the beat i guess. Majority of my drums are chopped from old songs. Usually old jazz and funk songs. Sometimes rock..Whenever I stumble on any kinda break digging I always chop them up no matter what. They always come in handy at some point. Sometimes I'll mix and match them with clean default preset kits to beef them up more. Like layer the clean drums over the dirty drums. I prolly have about 20ggigs of collected drum sounds alone haha.

@diversereel Almost. I'm getting there. Its definitely a big part of my income lately. Not at the point I am ready to quit the 9-5 yet tho. A lot of big things are happening this year tho. We'll see. I would LOVE to be at that point and will not stop until I am. I'm on a mission haha.

@DaRKpHoENiX3485 blister from heavy pad usage haha. This was before I modded my MPD tho. You used to have to hit it really hard. Now I just barely have to tap it. Check out MPCstuff.com for the kit to mod it.
