  • love the fact this concert was recorded, so good to hear him live in the early 60's!

  • The audience...Those lucky bastards....I´ll be sreamin too...

  • Takie nagranie bezpośrednio z koncertu,ma swój specyficzny urok,można się zjednoczyć z widownią.Dziękuję i serdecznie pozdrawiam.

  • .Elvis was the multi-talented genius who truly is KING of rock music...my early memories include my paternal grandmother never missing the Sunday night Ed Sullivan show so that she could bemoan the sad state of music. was headed-outraged as she was..she never missed a show-this was lost on me until my early 20's & had my own kids--loved that grumpy woman--my sis & I were her only grandchildren;she spoiled us rotten...had a radio/record player--"Smoke, Smoke That Cigarette" was a tune played smh

  • SUCH A LEGEND!!

  • sang the third verse first, but don't think anyone noticed.

  • Just one word KING

  • @mactopolis Amyone who says Elvis didn't have talent is either hateful, jealous,or just stupid.

  • Elvis was really on a roll, and it's so good to hear him tear it up on that old Clyde McPhatter platter. Go hillbilly cat, go!!!!!

  • Here it is people listen up.Elvis is the one and only KING of rock and roll,Get it?And no he would have never had shit to do with that fuckin jackson child molester,Elvis loved kids and would have probably wanted to kill him!Now if you will lets all have a moment of silence for the KING OF ROCK AND ROLL.

  • @shumpert67 I mean....do you actually have proof that Jackson molested kids? because when it came to the trail, he was found not guilty both times. I know your going to say "Well, he paid them off!" which is bullshit, because no parent in the right mind would take money over their childs mental health after being molested.

  • Elvis is the "Undisputed King of Rock" period. Nuff said!

  • @helo86 King of Rock and Roll =)

  • Wow, people get off the jesus thing. He was the king of rock n roll, no one ever said he was the king of man kind. seriously have some sense.

  • In fact Elvis Presley told a group in the audience holding a sign with the words "The King"---I can't accept this Kingship thing. I'm just an entertainer. To me there is only One King and that is Christ!

  • I will be glad to tell other blacks that we are not God and the King. The only human sinless perfect who ever lived, died, and rose again from the grave who is God and King is Jesus Christ.

  • Hey - to those that don't realise it - I suggest watching the You Tube Clips of the Elvis Tupelo concerts of 1956 and 1957.

You will soon realise that you are watching history, the first rock concerts. And you will appreciate how Elvis has influenced every other artist and group since, directly or indirectly , right through today, those that know it and those that don't.

Yet another first for the KING.

  • Most singers don't like to do outdoor concerts but ELVIS would. His voice was just that powerful.

  • ELVIS was doing the dancing, the singing, playing the guitar, the piano, drums and a million other things Jackson couldn't do. So what, the Beatles and Jackson wrote a few more songs than ELVIS did. But think about this, ELVIS did alot more concerts than they did to. ELVIS was the whole effin show and he didn't need three other guys or backup dancers to do it. ELVIS was always live unlike most who lipsynced their live shows.

  • @kjetin99 The Beatles were good but "THE KING" had alot more under the hood.

  • Beatles and Michael Jackson fans need to just get over it. ELVIS was the first entertainment megastar and was responsible for them doing what they did. The reason Beatle fans keep b*tching is because if you go by overall chart chart success both in the U.S. and worldwide ELVIS actually outdid them. As for Michael Jackson's fans they want everyone to think Michael did what he did before anyone else which is pure unadulterated bullsh*t.

  • This was such an awesome show. Man didn't Elvis look dashing in his gold lame jacket. Today On this the 50th anniversary Please sweet God if any of this was filmed, may we see it soon!!!! LOng Live The King and his Legacy!!!!!!!

  • thanks very much, did not realize that he helped fund the Pearl Harbour Memorial. We have deepest regards and thank you Elvis, we will always love you.

  • He was and Is - The King - I didn't like all of his music but NO ONE in my 60 years of life has ever come close to this man's talents - Sure he was a show man BUT he was a Perfectionist too - You sure got your dollar's worth - As for Elvis being influenced - Yes sure he was - someone showed him the way then he perfected it, That's why he was and still is THE KING.

  • The young Elvis could pretty much do anything with his voice. This is a fine example.

  • I'm surprised at the recording quaility. Back then it was hard to record a rock concert with all the screaming going on, and the recording equipment wasn't what it is today.

  • Love this song!!!

  • What a shame this wasn't made into a movie.

  • @leitrimboy Very well said,great comment.TCB.

  • best track the king did

  • Seems like the sound quality on this is slightly better than on the RCA release...does it come from a different source?

  • When was this discovered? It was always reported the '61 concert wasn't recorded. Most have no idea he's a huge reason why the Pearl Harbor monument exists. Nobody would fund it, so he did this free concert to raise the cash. Fantastic!

  • This man is the King. Period. No other ever had the incredible voice, scenic domination and charisma than Elvis Presley. Long live the King.

  • This is one of my favorites from the King. I wish he would have kept doing this song live.

  • God, I wish I could've been there!

  • why dont black singers try to sing elvis songs of the 1960's and compare the two. black singers will never sing elvis songs because they know they will sound like frogs. hey blacks pick any song return to sender, viva lasvegas, cant help falling in love, such a night, pleas dont stop loving me. sing them and compare. ru 2 chicken 2 try??

  • @jeryd2003

u sound very racist, and any race can sing any song and sound good unless ur bias. A good singer with the proper depth in voice can. get over it.

  • @squallthegriever u should read all the black comments first u seem like your lost in the woods.

  • @jeryd2003

fuck them then Just cause they are taking out of their ass does not mean you have too, intelligence man. It is true, Elvis did sing many other black artist music, and he did not credit many of them, but he was a powerful singer, and in his prime he was the first MEGA star That is how he is the King and should be respected. Fuck them It's not about race, its about coming as one and just listening to music or get the hell out. you know?

  • @squallthegriever what do u mean by elvis not crediting them? what is he supposed to do? everytime he sings a song say "this is a chuck berry song, chuck berry wrote sung and recorded this song in 1957? contray to public beleif elvis mentioned black singers way more than black mentioned him say 100 to 1 he also took many photos with black singers-jacky wilson, fats dominoe etc they didn't come up to him he went to them a footnote. elvis payed a black jacky wilson s hospital bill 40,000 hellohola

  • @squallthegriever Reality is he sang rather few songs written by blacks. He covered some but few were hits. Only 5 out of Elvis's 31 #1 hits (US & UK combined) were written by black people. He never had a #1 hit (or close) covering a song by a black artist. Some trivia: covering songs was the norm in 50s. Hound Dog (written by white guys) was covered over 30 times! That was the norm. Who cares about ANY OF THIS? Not me! But some people obsess over the skin color "aspect" of the songs Elvis sang

  • I wish this live song on video..will be great

  • @mactopolis hahhaha lol thats funny and so true them niggers need to stop there bitchin hahha

  • There was only 1 Elvis Presley. One of a kind. No matter how good of a impersonator there is out there, when you here the real elvis, ya know it dude!

  • but elvis charm and charisma no one could beat end of story

  • squallthegriever you are an idiot leave take michael with you.

  • @coloradoryan

Just because he opened doors he is a musical genius? How? explained? most of his music were covers songs and many better dancers than him. All the label did was get him into the studio and cover black people's music. I respect elvis and he was the first super star, i can say biggest, but not the most genius. That is the prblem i have with ya ELvis fanboys.

  • Shoulda filmed this show and gone home.

  • If anyone here wants to compare MJ to Elvis as far as career success, lets see. Elvis started in 1956 passed in 1977 at the age of 42 with all the achievements I've listed below. 2 decades of a very very successful career. MJ preformed most of his life and went solo at 30 yrs of age. 2 decades of success and passed at 50. You compare achievements and the MJ fans get the hell out of here and go watch your pedophile sing and dance. ELVIS IS THE KING OF ROCK n ROLL TCB

  • DESPITE a severely twisted colon,Incurable insomnia, terrible migraines, extreme exhaustion & kidney problems (causes of bloating due to water & what not) He performed until the last UNABLE TO REST, AS MANY DEPENDED ON HIM FOR A LIVING.

  • Comment removed

  • Also he starred in 33 successful films, made history with his television appearances and specials, and knew great acclaim through his many, often record-breaking, live concert performances on tour and in Las Vegas. Globally, he has sold over one BILLION records, more than any other artist. His American sales have earned him gold, platinum or multi-platinum awards for 150 different albums and singles.

  • "Before Elvis there was nothing" John Lennon

"Elvis Presley? he was the greatest who ever was, is or ever will be" Chuck Berry

"Elvis is the big bang of rock and roll" Bono

"Elvis Presley death deprives our country of a apart of itself. He was unique, irreplaceable" Jimmy Carter

"They called Elvis the King, why not my" Michael Jackson

"Without Elvis, there are no" Madonna

"He inspired me to be a performer, he is a legend, the King" Robbie Williams

  • dante elvis doesnt even come in number one for the recent decade or the year 2009 beatles were number one in sales thats why they passed elvis you fool because they are still coming in number one while elvis is being left in the dust and led zeppelin has sold more than elvis to you retard look it up.

  • OMG if you dont like Elvis dont come on on slate him goand ****OFF he was and still is the king of rock n roll mj on the other hand well i wont even go there ELVIS LIVES and in 20 years we will still know him but will we still know mj erm NO!!!!

  • He´s the only one! The King !

  • The recorded voice of Elvis has been heard by more people in the world than anyone in the history of the recorded voice

  • its funny even in the year of michaels death he still couldnt outsell the beatles, for 2009 michael finished second behind the beatles for the decade 2000-2009 the beatles were first in sales and somebody named jay-z finished second,as for over all sales all time the beatles are first and led zeppelin is second in sales all time.

  • Sales don't mean shit now adays, specially since 2000. Elvis didn't have as much talent as much as so may other artist.

  • @squallthegriever I do wish you would research Elvis in detail before you make stupid comments, you just make yourself sound stupid. Elvis did not have much talent? Where have you had your head buried? God almighty, Elvis has been gone for almost 33 years but he has just had a virtual concert tour around Europe and they were all packed out hahahahahaha

  • Ok, now see skill and talent are two different things. Here is one, Elvis never wrote a dam song on his life, he also never danced as good as most black dancers back in the day. His dance was famous, but how Dance was it? Elvis was an entertainer, not a musician. I have read, and seen documentaries of this superstar. Never have i heard "Elvis came in and he had this song/note/idea, and we/i was shocked" Never, he never did anything he was a manufactured man. Prove me that i am wrong,

  • @squallthegriever I have heard it all now, manufactured. hahahahaha OMG. Elvis started out as a teenager if his own accord, hahahah I cannot even find words to say how ABSOLUTELY STUPID YOUR COMMENT IS. lololololol . It is plainly obvious you know nothing about ELVIS otherwise you would not come out with such a childish pathetic comment. hahah. I thought I had heard it all but this beats the lot. There was no Americas got talent in those days. hahahahah cretin.

  • See now you are twisting what i said. I never said he never ever played since a child. That is true, but he never wrote a goddam song. He always took the credit. Let's see those songs that made him get discovered? Oh wait.. COVERS SONGS. "Hound Dog" was written by Big mama Thernot. (Whatever her name is spelled). Don't come saying it is stupid, he was just so famous he got away with everything. I love his voice, I love his swagger, but he was no musician he was an entertainer.

  • what are you retarded?every comment i said about elvis is a fact you idiot,he didnt write a single song he recorded thats why he sang crap like old mcdonald had a farm anyone who could write songs would never sing that you fool.

  • Also, he was the first superstar at that time he had no competition cause no one was a superstar like that. He donated? He only did that donation to his drugs sir. I like i said have seen so many documentaries, and i mean full factful Love Elvis ones. I respect the man, but he has no true musician talent. He was just a singer, who sang, he has so many albums.. true.. about that.. funny cause most of them are COVERS and songs written by Other SONGWRITERS. Prove me wrong.

  • @squallthegriever so what you are saying then is that all the greats wh had music written for them and not write for themselves are not good, Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Dean Martin

  • No no, you see, Elvis was a great singer, I respect his fame, and what he did. But he never ever wrote a goddam thing and he is taken as the best in music. C'mon now. John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Prince, Michael Jackson, to name a few.. they were musician, they wrote their music, they composed they had help here and there of course, but they did mostly everything, and it was their concept. That is a true king or kings.

  • @squallthegriever before elvis there was nothing:john lennon said this.

  • @squallthegriever ....Erm.....Yeah, but Elvis conceptualised popular music if you want to go down the concept route.

  • @trouble05uk

Yes, he did, but he never was a songwriter, just a singer. His dancing was not that great, others surpassed him. He cover most black ppl songs, how is that beinga genius? He was just the biggest most influencial artist superstar, not a musical genius.

  • @squallthegriever ..For sure, he was´nt a songwriter, but have a look what he did with old and new material. Turning a dreamy bluegrass waltz (Blue Moon of...) into a jangling Rockabilly. A new written song can be less innovative then a re-work of an old song. You have to look deeper. R&B and early R&R pioneers like Big Joe Turner or W. Harris they were as singer and stylist so much influencial. It´s about communicating a song and Big El was master.

  • @squallthegriever ... I had a look on your channel and I think the same what Guralnick says about Michael Jackson. That he was probably the last performer to bring together the listening public, in the way Elvis did.

  • @BabybluesLand

My channel ha Mj in the background with the guitar cause alot of Elvis and Prince fanboys say he never touched an instrument, well when they go spam me that would shut them up. Mj was the last superstar with genius in his music veins. Elvis, the Beatles, and Michael Jackson, to me are the top of the top, none are better and them 3 can not be compared either.

  • @squallthegriever A-men!

  • @donn409

    thanks

    for what?

  • @squallthegriever Thanks for setting people straight about the greatness of Elvis, the Beatles and Michael Jackson.

  • @donn409

Of course, all of them influenced rock, soul and pop, and even what has become of RnB Real music, sucks that no one from todays artist can even try to sound like em in the best way of influence. Horrible music, how do the kings feel..

  • @squallthegriever No truer words were ever spoken.

  • @squallthegriever What's all this carry-on about song-writing... some people are song-writers... some are interpreters of song... some people are scriptwriters... some people are actors. Would you suggest that an actor who doesn't write his/her own scripts is inferior to a scriptwriter/actor?

  • The Beatles did NOT outsell Elvis last year or any other year. Even in England Elvis outsells the Beatles always has always will.

  • it was elvis who helped make tne uss arizona memorial what it is today. it was at this benifit that he earned the remaining money to help build the memoral. i read somewhere that the plaque recognzing elvis contribution was removed rrom the memorial. if so. PUT IT BACK. cstanchik

  • @CSTANCHIK You are right, the plaque was removed because they said after his death he took drugs. I think it is disgusting, had it not been for Elvis they more than likely would not have had the money to build it. I have e,mailed President Obama asking if he can get Elvis name put back.

  • It's obvious Squal is a bitter loser and a pathetic racist who defends faggot peds like Michael Jackson, who didn't even want to be black and who's own dad wanted him dead so he'd be worth more since he hadn't had a hit in over a decade. LOL No Quincy Jones = No MJ hits. Squal's got racist black written all over him. LOL A waste of time and oxygen.

  • @MisterMasterShafter I agree with you 110%. Whites aren't the only ones that can be racists. Jackson proved he was racist by saying ELVIS couldn't be "THE KING" cause he was white. He should've checked his facts cause ELVIS was also partly Jewish and Cherokee. That makes Jackson a three time biggot and that goes for his daddy to. ELVIS and Lisa saved what was left of Jackson's career and that's the thanks they get?

  • @donn409 elvis would have replied, i'ms strictly an entertainer and i'd rather keep my thoughts to my =self

  • @donn409 Elvis Presley would be glad to tell Micheal Jackson that there is only One King and that is Christ!

  • @BBQFanNo1 I agree, ELVIS would've been a great friend to Jackson. ELVIS was there first and would've had alot of advice for Michael that would've helped keep his feet planted firmly on the ground.

  • @BBQFanNo1 well said jt

  • doesnt matter the beatles have sold billions they have outsold michael and elvis both so you and shadesofblue arguement is pointless.

  • Honolulu 1961 is such an awesome concert. Such a great set list and the band is fantastic! I love hearing Boots Randolph playing sax on "That's Alright Mama".

  • that´s true !!!!

  • i think im right in saying this was his last performance in front of an audience until the 68 come back special. what a waste!!

  • @michaelvkelly1 I agree, ELVIS should have done live shows in tandem with his movie and album releases. It would have been out of this world.

  • UK ETA Jay Ashton performs a great tribute of "Such A Night" on the video response above (when approved)

  • Fantastic 5 ***** E

  • Elvis sold more than 1.4 million records, Elvis has more numbers 1.18 in U.S. and 21 in the UK, Elvis revolutionized the music when I was standing, I change everything Elvis, Elvis made 31 movies (bad) gave Elis The first concert saw massive satellite over 1500 million people (more than the man reaches the moon) Elvis is the only artist in 3 museums of music, Elvis was the first artist to be censored, Elvis has 9 records guinnes Elvis played guitar and piano, Elvis sell 8000 records a day.

  • Hi just like to add Elvis could also play the drums

  • elvis could play everything when determined to do so. he loved to be challanged. he even played bass cuz bill black couldnt get it right when recording your so square baby i dont care for jailhouse rock

  • I've seen no evidence of this, other then an album cover showing him on the drums

  • Such a shame that there is no film of this concert or a decent recording. Elvis was vocally at his zenith and he had a great backing band with him, which included Scotty Moore, D.J Fontana, Hank Garland , Boots Randolf and Floyd Cramer. Hot or what! Not forgetting the legendary Jordanaires.

  • Its funny all the MJ and Beatles fans always make there way to an Elvis video or music clip to use as a measuring stick for the big "whos the greatest" question. The funny thing is they always use Elvis as the bench mark.Kind of says something about who truely is the greatest???????

  • Elvis has one of the best voices in history, Elvis was chosen artist of the century, no Beatles or Elvis would not Rollings, John Lennon said "before Elvis there was nothing "John Lennon said," My only ambition in life was to be as big as Elvis' "I shall love to listen to Elvis, Madonna said" you are nothing without Elvis "Elvis died in 1977 when the U.S. president gave a conference and I announce to all, the Pope himself was a fan of Elvis.

  • Which pope, or should i asume all Popes even ones that died before 1954

  • Elvis died more than 3 decades and is still remembered his death, Elvis gave over 1000 concerts in the last 7 years of his life, Elvis gave 4 concerts in a row at Madison Square Garden and fill them all, Elvis never gave a concert outside of the U.S. and even so he became famous worldwide, RCA certify 1,000 million Elvis records in 1980 and BMG in 1997, Elvis is the king.

  • Elvis gave concerts in stadiums in 1956.1957, before the beatles.

  • @dante6000ss ELVIS was also doing outdoor concerts before other performers. He performed at the Alabama-Mississippi State Fair in a outdoor concert in 1956. The number of people that attended the fair that year was estimated at over 100,000. He also performed at Empire Stadium in Canada in 1957. And there are numerous other instances of him performing outdoors and in stadiums long before the Beatles or Michael Jackson or WOODSTOCK.

  • Comment removed

  • 1- Elvis Presley 1.4 Billiom

    2- The Beatles 1.2 Billiom

    3- Michael Jackson 750 milliom

  • Note that this record is off, MJ has sold more records than Elvis. That is why he was the most successful entertainer not Elvis.

  • You're just jealous 'cause MJ was a pedophile

  • Really? Because the father of the child killed himself after Mj died.. I guess a guilty mind killed him too for LYING. for 17 years they were after MJ, and no evidence. The label gave and paid the family out of court walls not to MJ knowledge at that point. What does that have to do with talent? I guess that is all you have to defend Elvis? I was talking about talent, not personal lives, cause in that case Elvis did nothing to contribute to society.

  • MJ's dad wanted him dead. 'Nuff said.

  • That ha nothing to do what fact i just said. Nuff said

  • @squallthegriever It is obvious you know nothing at all abiut ELVIS otherwise you would not make such a silly comment. Elvis contributed so much to society I could sit here until this time tomorrow listing them but why should I, we fans know what he did and it is oibvious when people make comments such as yours you are just clutching at straw to try and rove something.

  • haha thats not even close to being right led zeppelin is second in sales behind the beatles all time, beatles are not only first they finished the decade 2000-2009 first and they finished 2009 also in first place.

  • @jayfey77 Zeppelin? LOL 1: Elv1s Presley +1000 million, 2: The Beatles +1000 million 3: Michael Jackson +750 million, far below the others come.

  • wrong dante the beatles have sold billions not millions so have led zeppelin you idiot.i dont know where you are getting your info from but it isnt current.not only do beatles lead sales all time they sold the most for the decade 2000-2009 somebody named jay-z finished second in sales, and as for the year 2009 beatles came in first in sales and michael jackson came in second because of his death.

  • you are in loser denial dante the beatles have sold more than elvis even led zeppelin has sold more than elvis you fool.

  • @jayfey77 you are making comments about Elvis when it is OBVIOUS YOU KNOW NOTHING ABIOUT HIM.All you do is make yoursef look stupid and no one takes your serious

  • Elvis got the 1000 million albums in the last century, was certified by RCA and BMG, Elvis now far surpass that figure, the only singer and the only band who have more than 1000 million sales are Elv1s and the beatles, the other are very low. led zeppelin? Who is that? LOL Here's a small video of gift: /watch?v=b_1ZYWqZj5A

  • warum gibt es kein videomaterial von dieses konzert das wär doch hammer oder

  • Elvis The BEST

  • Thanks Galoport, your pix sure capture the 1961 Elvis. It always makes me glad when the photos correspond timewise with the performance or recording posted here.

  • Elvis didn't need the 73 to cement his title. It was already done with his untouchable amount of chart toppers, golds, platinums, singles, ..................#1s, top 40s, top 20s top 10s. Have you ever been to Graceland in the record room????? What other artists or groups can fill a room with all that gold and platinum certified???? Before anyone goes off spouting Beatles, Jackson, Cash or whomever, Guiness says other wise. For God's sake, he was almost 40 during the 73. Not bad!

  • YEAH!! Elvis did set the bar quite high with his acheivements -- both during his short lifetime and since!!!!

  • Yeah, right, The Beatles, best selling musical act of all time, elvis second and jackson, not deserving it, 3rd.

  • Again, if you have seen the amount of gold records at Graceland, you would change your mind.

  • and you should see the combined amount of all the gold and platinum records of the four beatles compbined, not without a doubt paul is the most sucessfull singer_songwriter of all time.

but still evlis is the king, and he's the most important solo artist in rock , but without the beatles we wouldn't have modern music, they revolutionized anything, from making albums the most important medium rather than singles and their studio experimentation.

elvis the greatest solo rocker of all time.

  • The most important solo artist that inspired the Beatles. I enjoy the fact that the only person they wanted to meet when they came to America was Elvis. Look, if you go to any other you tube artists page, you will see the first person they go after is Elvis. For instance, on the Michael Jackson page, they attack Elvis. On the Beatles page, they attack Elvis. Go to Johnny Cash's page, and they attack Elvis. They never attack the Beatles. It is simple, to be #1 you have to beat #1.

  • yeah, that's why noone BEATs the BEATles and everyone knows it.

  • Also it is not my opinion about Elvis having the most gold and platinum albums. It is fact according to Guiness. Also, if you combined the individual Beatles, then they would not be the Beatles; they would be the Beatles plus 4 other dudes.

  • okay, than we just take elvis sun records out, because they we're recorded by the blue moon boys, not elvis as a solo act.

  • Yes - Aloha pretty much marked the end. For such a huge audience - the concert of a life time - he did not pull anything special out - sluggish as all hell - basically couldn't care - it was, I'm sorry, a boring concert and did not showcase or do anything to cement his title as "King of Rock n Roll". In fact, completely the opposite.

  • You presuppose he would have become a national/international superstar wtihout Parker; there is absolutely no evidence of that. It was Parker who had the RCA and television contacts. Only Parker could have gotten the kind of money and concessions from a major record label for a then regional star like Elvis Presley. It was also Parker who turned Elvis into the highest paid actor in Hollywood. Parker who negotiated Elvis' biggest successes from the '68 Special through Aloha and beyond.

  • Elvis was not a national star when he met the Colonel, only a regional star. It was the Colonel who brought Elvis to RCA and television. It was the Colonel that turned 1956 into Elvis' breakthrough year.

  • super *****

  • i have never heard this concert before wow great

  • Jack Nitzsche - The Last Race ripped the beggining interlude of this video off.

  • All I can say Col. Parker really screwed this up and not recorded this concert!

  • Yes i agree! he screwed up alot!!!!

  • How many live concerts in the 50s by anyone was recorded? The concept of a live concert album was not exactly an industry standard at that time.

  • that's my father Bob Moore playing the upright bass. USS Arizona benefit... these rare photos were not generally circulating until the 1990s, in an EP live concert hardcover book.

  • You must be very proud of your father, since he was one of the best bass players ever from Nashville. One of a kind!

  • It's pretty cool someone actually had the audio, this song never got any airtime because at the time the dude had so much out there and the freegin movies were too much of a distraction - in the hospital before he died he asked a nurse if she thought the people would ever remember him after he died.

  • "Such A Night" never got much air time because it had already been a hit for someone else when Elvis recorded a cover of it not to mention it wasn't released as a single for another couple years after this by which time it was no longer a hot commodity.

  • Oh come on. Someone gave me a thumbs down for simply stating facts??? LOL What is it with you people??? LOL

  • You have a show from February 26th 1961? Where can I get a copy?

  • Viideo no longer available? well, thats a pisser. Grrrrrr lol

  • ELVIS ELVIS ELVIS ELVIS ELVIS ELVIS and ELVIS ELVIS ELVIS!!! Yes, I like Elvis Presley and his music! Best Ever! Alberta Canada

  • Oghiaph....Yes I got all of it here on you tube. It should be on CD, Check!

  • now this is the way elvis should of done all his concerts! why no more for 7 years? and then he was never the same, the singing wasn't as good and he shorted all the 50's and 60's rockers. sadly

  • ELVIS IS MAGIC!
