I'm a veggie (for 6 years) with a meat-eating boyfriend and I agree with this 100%. I hate these extremists losers. I knew Onision was a douche, but now I dislike him even more.

I can tell you that there are some benefits to not eating meat. That being said, I know a few people who only eat meat that is cruelty and hormone free and they are pretty healthy. Then again, I also know people who eat fast food meat and seem pretty healthy. I don't think I'll ever eat meat again, but that's my own morality. Someone's diet isn't exactly a good thing to judge someone's character on.

I'm actually going to try to cut down on consuming meat within the next few weeks. Mainly because I'm moving out to Nebraska, and I'll be doing some work for AmeriCorps, so I'll have to be more frugal with my money. I'm also somewhat concerned with the amount of methane produced from cattle, so I'm going to try to stay away from red meat as much as I can.
If you want to eat better meat, there's a place called Whole Foods (if you have one nearby) that sells the good stuff. It's a little more pricy, but it's healthier.
