  • I used to kick a tree but then I took an arrow to the knee.

  • łapke w dól dali ci ktorzy nie wiedzą o co chodzi..

  • shit form

  • @517gotmilk hes not doing it for technique ,its shin conditioning obviously.Personally a hard heavy bag would be way better and he could use good tech at the same time.

  • well you suck

  • @thecrazyboy40

I to am pretty new to kyokushin but not fighting and I'm pretty sure this isn't a kick it is just something to strengthen shin bones

  • Bad Technique... bad bad panch...

  • jump style

  • Any master will agree that technique varies from one practitioner to another. He is hitting hard, and I would bet a well placed thigh kick from him would hurt. And although they don't hit back, soft humans don't harden your bones. Go try it. Sensei Craig,Kyokushinkan International.

  • the man is out kicking a damn tree! make them bones hard as fook!!

  • REPLAY,REPLAY!!!!!

  • in a real situation close your knee...it will prevent when you're in a close combat (I want to suppose that in a defending situation) to don't be hitted in the groin

  • @chuequitosam I mean that the knee is wide open. You have to protect your center, you really have to

  • I am 17 years old and i kicking tree since year ago and i do that with naked leg and no cover on tree..(tree is cherry,3 times thicker and stronger than this tree) :)

  • I am a shotokan karateka, I just want to give you some advice, when training watch out for training in rhythim, for example between your kicks the time intervals are exactly the same, it becomes a bad habbit when training because your body quickly becomes used of the rhythim and then the exersize loses its effectivity. Im also guilty of this...

  • Osu! I leave a video response

  • Train and get firewood at the same time. I like it.

  • u're killa!

  • Tree don't fight back

  • @nbsbb2009 yeah but the hard part is finding someone willing to act as makiwara.

  • @nbsbb2009 Neither do punching bags, pads, kicking shields ...

But you gotta harden your limbs on something. And refining your technique as opposed to doing nothing but sparring 2 hours a day certainly DOES help in the ring.

  • @nbsbb2009 of course not!!This tree is dead! no trees were harmed during the making of this video...

  • @nbsbb2009 try to kick a tree first and then say that. it hurts like a bitch if u kick it improperly, and it hurts even more if ur not trained. FAIL

  • @nbsbb2009 Try to hit it with your shin , so you will se if it hits or not :P

  • @nbsbb2009 Idiot..this is to strengthen his legs for kicks... And can't believe this stupid comment has so many likes, this is proof how many couch potatoes are out there trying to act smart!

  • it is sick thing! can i take x-ray of your left chin please?

  • is this kyokushinkai?

  • ..the healing is betwen 1-2 days..but you need to hit a lot s o years, almoust daily... for that bone to becaome like Oyama's bones ;) .ty

  • the tree dont punch back,,,try it with man....

  • bravo kyokushin ramane cel mai dur sport si cel mai frumos

  • Дерево не может дать сдачи...)

  • What did he put on the tree? What is he kicking?

  • @BLACKSUNszekelyLori It is a Makiwara, it is a striking training tool, used in Karate Do, originally from Okinawa, you could find some information in wikipedia

  • tong po w lesie

  • Asta da antrenament de durizare!

  • drzewo nieodda!!

    KYOKUSHIN = ART OF WAR

  • osu kyokushin power jaime ta vidéo

  • he's kicking the tree?

  • @arbuziasty it certainly appears that way.

  • turn your leg more in order to kick more powerful

  • great! awesome training :)

  • this video was rec in 2006...i had a lot of time to improve the tehnique..thx 4 the advice anyway...OSU

  • @decisivCAbila8 Dont worry mate people on youtube are just to ignorant dont let them judge you behind a keyboard i dont see them posting videos of themselves Osu from shotokan.

  • @decisivCAbila8 Thug like slow kicks at a tree that can't fight back???? Buddy needs to look in the mirror here. Oh and *Ossu*

  • Need to turn your hips and leg more, no power.

  • @seanamico i dont think he is going for power! just conditioning.

  • @m9916, What is he conditioning? It is the shin that needs to be conditioned, it is with the hip rotation that you get to the front of the shin and your supporting foot needs to turn more so your knees does not go out. Its really not proper training anything, this would be a disaster one day.

  • @seanamico He's conditioning his shin, whats the problem?

  • @BlackwallstreetBIH, The shin is in front of your leg not on the side, he never hits the shin, he is only hitting the side. In order to hit the shin you have to rotate your hip and step to the side. its all wrong. I can careless how long he does it wrong.

  • @seanamico

from my understanding when your a beginner, you dont do 'proper' technique because it will hurt more, thats why he's not turning all the way. its a gradual process, honestly, when you started off, did you swing your hips and legs? NO!.

  • @channelin, Bad habits start right from the beginning. I was not trying to ridicule or make fun but if he continues doing it this way it will never get better, properly done it pushes the nerves back where he is striking at this time. If this works for him then my best.

  • @seanamico when you hit a tree for durification..it is not the same as a punching bag...if i hit it like a bag..my nerves would have been down..;)... i cannot hit perpendicular with the target at a tree...

  • @RANGodhand, Not true, first of all you have a pad on the tree and not hitting it directly. The purpose of hitting it properly is to push the nerves back to the side, this helps when making connection with others bone to bone not to feel the pain and it is not done with pads in Asia but if you feel it is right for you then more power to you. The angle and striking position is all wrong. When you dont step to the side and turn the ball of your foot to twist you will someday twist your knee.

  • @seanamico the porpouse is to make the microfractures...hitting not to hard but not too soft,,constantly...for that the bone to become stronger...hitting the makiwara it is different from the bag... Hitting makiwara develops...60% durification...20% skill and 20% reflex( muscle memory...automatic movement)...thats my opinion... ty 4 yours

  • Debile!! En plus ses coups de pieds sont mauvais. Avant de faire du durcissement, travaille ta technique. Blaireau!!

  • u are destroying the green enviornment. go and kick some heavy bags. put some metal or rock in the bag instead. leave those trees alone, it doesnt make u look tougher.

  • ko!ko!ko!ko!ko!ko!

  • what did you buy? to kick

  • there is a huge probability that a street fight would occur in conditions similar to those instead of occuring in a dojo or a place with a nice cute pink pillow were u can land safely:)

so, yes, those are best conditions to train. confort is the enemy of motivation. loose confort and your motivation can be trained as well.motivation is what keeps u punching after u got 3-4 punches straight in your martial arts-filled head.

  • not good conditions for train, but ppl should appreciate your motivation - anyway keep going

  • donner, montrer ce que vous pouvez faire - garde haute, même avec cette low-kick félicitations
