  • one of the last adventures we can enjoy.

Thanks for the nice video, keep up and flying.

    Allzeit gute bärte :-)

  • Love the sound of the Vario - UP + 6

    Brings back memories.

  • what does this annoying bleeping sound mean???

  • Vreau si eu un planor ca al vostru si sa am si okazia sa zbor pe acolo .! Felicitari baieti .

  • Nice vid!!

What is the best thing to do, if I want to fly in the mountains too? I fly now over 5 years, and it would be lovely to fly in the alps... Do you have any tips?

    Thnx

  • @tribalwars82 i'd suggest you fayance airfield in france or saint crepin, they have excellent conditions and lots of gliders to rent

  • how much did each plane cost and where do you go to buy one?

  • @elithe15th between 200,000 and 500,000 euro, google "binder flugzeugbau"

  • Check out the intense Cambridge on That Baby!

  • in normal flight what speed what do you fly at in that beast?

  • @hargreavesjn123 Anywhere between 50-130 kts, it really depends on what you're doing at the time.

  • great video, whats that noise though through the whole video ?

  • @rsyodi the electric vario

  • with the eb28 you can almost cover all of the pyrenees, so you will have raise every moment

  • Isn't that little string on the canopy supposed to be pointed straight back?

"Step on the ball, step away from the string."

  • In big wing class, which this is, it's usually a good idea to keep string slightly on the outside of the turn, extra precautions so that not to stall the inner wing. But hey thanks for the tip!

  • Ok, I can accept that. Biggest I've flown is AS-W17, and one doesn't really want to be yawing about in that ship.

I didn't mean to be overly critical, it is a fine video and I really enjoyed it. Thank you for posting, and keep flying!

  • Not at all, comments always welcome, glad you enjoyed. The EB 28 has a 28 meter wing span, so very few gliders are bigger. They are amazing in weak conditions, stays up for ever.

  • I've never flown an endless wing either, but I imagine that such a tiny rudder has very little control authority, in the interests of absolute performance. To keep the yaw sting in the center would require considerable concentration while manouvering for a photo and trying not to 'sword fight' with carbon fibre at altitude! :)

Bloody good video, and great scenery, that you just don't get in Australia.

  • X L Ent, Thanks for the posting

  • pas mal mais la prochaine fois tu fera gaffe au fil de laine ^^

  • So graceful.
