  • Old Boys is not really a martial arts movie... and it's also pretty messed up.

  • I saw Fighter In the Wind. Great movie. Is Old Boy a Marital Art file as well? I just happen to have found Fighter in the wind on you tube.

  • FUCK YOU ,YOU RACIST FUCK! RETARD HATING ON KOREANS!

no really, old boy and fighter in the wind are best world movies, not just korean

and i love the old boy fighting,no fucking cut sceens, matrix moves etc.

  • I'm always looking for more korean martial arts movies. I'm having trouble tracking down more... I'm absolutely becoming addicted to them as my favorite style of martial arts movies. No other martial arts films have been able to invoke emotions that these bring me. So far I've seen Oldboy and The Man From Nowhere. I JUST finished watching Fighter in the Wind, because of this video specifically... amazing! I didn't think a martial arts movie could make me so scared and conflicted...

  • I REALLY like the point you made from watching the film about making it harder to quit something that you feel like quitting. I never thought of that....gotta check that out! Ka-ham-sam-nida.

  • exactly was looking for fighter in the wind thanx a lot man!1

  • I SAW A MOVIE on OCN (like korean HBO). And i dont remember what it was called but there was a gang fight in a burning building. ANY KNOW WHAT THIS IS?

  • @WhyItsJoeOfCourse I think its a japanese movie!! Crow zero 2!! Haha

  • ip man 1 2 fighter in the wind

  • Oldboy isn't a martial arts film, but that's my favorite Korean film. Then No Sympathy for Mister Vengeance, and then Lady Vengeance.

  • @SadoKaden the way the protagonist beats the crap outta like 100 people with a hammer...that's an art. And he kicks ass, so that covers martial...so I guess it's a martial art by that logic now isn't it?

  • @DinkyInkyCloudyKinky hah, by that logic, indeed I can't argue with you there, as long as we can agree that OldBoy is just amazing.

  • fighter in the wind was my favourite movie cause its realistic fighting not like hollywood style where people are flying thats too much i like realistic style and i enjoyed the parts where he was training .antoher reason is cause the main character uses his style against different styles there is a fight where he beats this ninjutsu practisionar

  • Boring

  • jeon woochi or the shadowless sword

  • One of my favorities Of Korean films is "The Man Who Painted With Fire", A great film about art, artists, and charector! They mention a Korean Classic about Chi Developement. Could that be had in a translated version I think you would be the man to know

  • @zattoart fag it isa bout fighting fucking movies

  • order no7

  • Just recently I saw 'The Man from Nowhere'. Perfect action-drama film. Does anybody know movies just like it?

  • volcano high is the best... maybe not martial art scene but when it comes to fight scene... Still looking for that kind of movie but there some like arahan, taoist wizard... but not close enough compare to volcano high fight scene... if its asian fight scene its going to be kung fu hustle and volcano high coz its same feeling watching THE MATRIX trilogy and these movies are good for your new mini home theater testing. hehe hehe!

  • same here but what kind of martial arts is it is it tkd or what

  • Ssaum-ui gisul (the Art of Fighting) IT'S PURE AWESOMENESS :D. I like how it's a teenage boy who has to solves his problems alone 'cuz his dad is an ***hole cop =O

  • I think Fight in the Wind was the best Korean martial arts movie. The next best would probably be Arahan. It has a good amount of fighting scenes and is hilarious.

  • Also Once Upon a Time in High School is really good.

  • Korean martial arts movies are just bad. There's a lot of potential, but they all end up bad. I love Old Boy, but I never saw that as a martial arts movie.

  • I don't know anything about Korean films other than 3 films, The Host, Dragon Wars and an old one, Yongary. I guess I will check out your forum and site. I would like to see what entertainment Korea has, but I am primarily interested in science fiction.

  • never seen a korean martial arts movie, still have yet to watch one. actually, i just got city of violence and i'm really looking forward to watching it soon. in any case, i see some comments posting non-korean martial arts movies so here's my $0.02, Ip man has got to be one of the coolest martial arts movies. it stars Donnie Yen as a Wing Chun martial artist. Check it out, great movie.

  • Korean i like old boy and city of violance.

  • I think Fighter in the Wind is the best korean martial arts movie ive seen. But this doesn't say much, simply because that there are just a few korean martial arts movies, which were released here in Europe. There are a lot of dramas, romcoms and a few action-movies.

  • dude ur right, it's one of the best martial movie I've seen for quite a while. If u know any movie a bit similar, let me know. cheers..

  • I am a HUGE fan of martial arts fantasy films and one of my favorites is The Legend of the Shadowless Sword. A very good story, excellent acting, terrific action and superb fight choreography. And if that doesn't do it for you, the two lead women are breath takingly beautiful. Simply a fantastic film.

  • art of fighting!

  • 2.sword in the moon(brave heart is Hollywood equivalent) 1.fighter in the wind(of course) ...My best fight scene was in Beat, old boy, My top actor Jacky Chan wasn't in top 10. BTW ninja assassin sucked. Rain screwed up passing up fighter in the wind.

  • 7.city of violence(Chase scene music video was awful to me) 6.protector (the movie sucked but Tony Rocked!) 5.Shogun Assassin(the whole original series deserved to be number one but let's be fair) 4.house of flying daggers(ancient Chinese guided missile technology..) 3.crouching tiger hidden dragon (it was full of Shit but good Shit)

  • My top 10. 10.hero (Jet Li barely made this movie in the list) 9.Zatoich(blind swordsman is the #1 movie was bit off beat) 8.kill bill(took both movies to make it on the list)

  • Fighter in the wind was intended on making the best martial art movie backed by the greatest martial artist. Old boy had much better fight scenes. Let's compare apples and oranges.

  • I own a copy of fighter in the wind on dvd that's imported from Singapore with English sub.

  • YESS fighter in the wind! :D:D

  • Gangster High

is my favorite Korean fight movie.

    it looks so realistic!

    definately check it out.

  • I love this movie, that s simply what i can say,if possible is there a link from where i can watch it in English or french?

  • art of fighting!!!! its so good

  • Fighter in the Wind, Oldboy, Time & Tide

  • Oldboy is very great

  • The historical drama series "Emperor of the Sea" to me is one of the most beautiful, noble, virtuous, and elegant piece of story telling every done anywhere in any language.

  • my fav movie is karate kid 1..because about the movie that i learned is that things get bad be 4 being good....

  • my favorite is volcano high

  • nice comments on the movie, i have it also, im from costa rica and im a big fan of korean cinema, however i think there are a lot of better korean movies, for example park chan wook trilogy of vengeance is amazing, cold winter blues although it lacked strenght at the end had really good acting,

  • fighter in the wind was sick, i also liked shadowless sword, the restless and many more.

  • I loved Fighter in the Wind, But to me I loved Sword In the Moon more. Korean movies are really well made. The more I get to watch them whether action, suspense or thriller. I am being won over movie after movie. City of Violence gets and honorable mention as well.

  • i would say musa the warrior with zhang ziyi...yes i know she's not korean, but chinese, but the movie is korean

  • It wasn't a martial arts film per se, but i absolutely loved "A Bittersweet Life" and "Tae Guk Ki" ...heck I just love korean dramas, period.

  • i love oldboy!! fav korean movie of all time!

  • i liked oldboy because he didnt start off knowing how to fight but then through his suffering his mind went back to the natural power to defend himself at any cost. it was a very creative movie

  • I like Streets of Violence.

  • I don't think Old boy counts as martial arts movie lol.

  • true

  • Fighter in the Wind. Is that the one who's follow Miyamoto Musashi's path and try to defeat Japanese Martial Arts? Really good, especially when he was with the kid.

  • Ahhh good one. I havn't sat down to a martial arts flick in a good long time. If I'm going to, there's few better recomendations I could find than through you.

Domo, I'll let you know if I find any on my own that aren't so amazingly main stream everyone's already heard about them.
