  • this is still a nice elevator even without the touch sensitive buttons

  • NICE elevator but the camera control.... Anyway it SUCKS that they ripped out the touch buttons.

  • i have been to watertower place and it's a dream come true!

  • does the express have doors on the skipped floors. also that view is fantastic.

  • miss winfrey lives in that building so i assume that's the elevator she puts her billion dollar self in to get to her mansion in the sky

  • @garycalgary She actually lives across the street at Water Tower Place.

  • The door sensors look like the sensors at the Sky Harbor Airport!

  • I remembered riding that when I was in 8th grade back in 2002.

...Except they weren't modernized. They still had old buttons back then. Sweet elevators, don't ya think? :D

  • Are these Otis Gen2 by any chance?

  • @clarkloveselevators No - those were installed in the 1970's.

  • I filmed those. And te elevators at the Swissotel are now Otis with the new panels where you enter the floor outside the elevator.

  • as much as i L0VE, L0VE, L0VE this place i HATE these elevators... they make me sick when it gets to a level and i think these are the worlds L0NGEST elevators. . they ride quick but takes too damn long to get to your level... the minimum ive waited was 5 mins and the max was 13.. no joke... my aunt and mom used to work for otis in ny back in the 70s and 80s and they hate these 2

  • those elevators suck since they were modded. used to have touch buttons.

  • some expresses dont beep in the express zone. my library has two sets:

group of three that serve A then 1 thru 16

group of two that serves A then 16 thru 26.

by a glitch either in the pair could send you to 26. thats how RIT would label them.

  • These used to have touch sensitive buttons in the late 90s...

  • i just use the excalator the elevators take too long

  • 2:28 - 2:31. I recently filmed an elevator with lights like that on the doors. The building is called the Chancery.

  • So are these are traction elevators?

  • Are there UNsenic elevators at the watertower place

  • These remind me of the myer centre elevators in brisbane, australia

  • I was just at Chicago today! I only went to Shed Aqaruim!

  • you should've used the express elevator.. goes directly from G to 2 to 7

  • lol close button dont work

  • What is on levels "G","M","2","4" & "7"?

  • First you use a normal elevator and second you use a express elevator.

  • im guessing you shouldnt go here if your afriad of hiehgts..

  • It's not too bad.

  • Why didn't you do the hack!

  • Those buttons used to be free touch buttons.

  • You mean touch-free?

  • Best. Mall. Ever.

  • I'm going there with my friends next neek

  • By chance, did they put a digital indicator in the far left elevator?

  • Yes

  • I remembered that elevator. I rode it in 8th grade in 2002. I was in the 8th grade annual trip to Chicago.

  • they were modernized since hanny was here

  • Well when I was there those vandal-resistant outside buttons weren't there.
