I have no idea what my dog is mixed with, only that he is flat coat ret., but after watching this I think it is safe to say Flat coat/border collie mix.

We have the exact dog; we were told he was a registered border collie when we bought him. (Mother on premises) Obviously has some Retriever in him, but the Vet also suggested full bred Flat Coat Retriever as a possibility. Ours is an absolutely wonderful dog, great personality and extremely smart. We overpaid, but wouldn't change a thing. Would pay double and consider it a bargain.

my dog looks almost exactly like yours except my dog is smaller in size and has a rounder face. I know that my dog has some border collie and possibly some flat coated retriever. possibly border/flat?

I have 1 yr. old Collie & Golden Retriever mix.She was a rescue dog, we adopted her Jan.2011, for first couple days in our house she was so sad and always watching on the window & taking deep breaths, I know she missed her previous family and never understood why they left her, infact, she had separation anxiety for first two weeks, she was so scared when we left her alone in the house, but because of love and care that my husband and I give her, she is now a happy & very sweet dog

There is definitely flat-coated retriever in that dog. Sine others say border collie I'm guess it's a mix of the two, though there might be something else thrown in.

I have a precious little lifemate named Sakii....and she looks exactly like this. I know she is a border collie, but i've often wondered if she has something else in her, which I've thought was most likely golden retriever. I found her starving on the side of the road about 3 years ago and I couldn't live a second without her. Most amazing that's ever happened to me.

She has the same face and ears as my dog. Mine is 25% Labrador, 25% Flatcoat and 50% border collie. Also at 1:01 when I pause the video I would have thought it was my dog if I hadn't known otherwise. Looking out the windows is one of her favourite "time-killing" activities. And she makes the same sound as when you play with the toys =)

At first we weren't even thinking about border collie being part of the mix, but people keep mentioning it -- so could be. She does tend to try to herd the other dogs when we take her to the dog park.
