I was about 5 and lived right out side the city at the time, my dad was supposed to go to a construction job about a block from the towers, luckily he was running late that day. Also my cousin who was cop at the time was out of town. Most of us left the NYC area within a few yrs. RIP to all the victims
i was 4 and i remember my mother turning on the tv, and it was a breaking news story, and she stood there horrified then she lost it, and i still to this day remember watching it happen on tv. RIP 9/11 victims and families, and may America still stand strong.
Was in kindergarten. Teacher got a call and she just kinda stopped. She turned on the tv. We saw the second plane crash. I was five and saw this. Didnt really know what was going on. Probably didnt really completely understand till about fourth grade. My mom was a teacher at the middle school at the time. Not even they let the kids watch it. They were instructed to not even tell the kids. Crazy to think that in a few short months that will have been 11 years ago...RIP to all killed.
I had just gotten to my preschool. so I was pretty young when all this happen, I was three years old. But I'm really into this kind of stuff and I feel awful for all the people that last their lives that day. RIP. And my prayer go out to the people that lost their loved ones. its just as hard. I wish this never happened but it proves that you can push us down but we'll get right back up and become STRONGER!!! God bless!
I was in 4th grade writing a paper for the current assignment at about 10:00 when I first heard. now i'm 20 and can still remember the exact location of where I was when I first found out. you can never forget. still a great song. God bless the families of the victims and may the children of the heroic firemen and police know how heroic they were. God bless the USA.
this song always moves me, this is such a poignant moment in our countries history. It is up to each and every one of us do decide what we will do with it.
This is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO sad p.s. R.I.P. 9/11 victems :'(
