how is toy story 3 an adpated screenplay? A movie can have characterss based on previuos films but not the story. And that's essentailly what the screenplay is about....story.

What stumps me is how it didn't at least win best director. Fincher was a huge part of why the film was so incredible. The King's Speech was great, don't get me wrong, but it didn't deserve to win best picture for sure. It was generic, predictable, excellent performances notwithstanding.

His screenplay for Social Network is one of the best in the past 30 years. Every line of dialogue is a perfect blend of weight and elegance. I'd kill to write as good as Sorkin.

@thelupoistheman1 I really didn't understand why people blame James Franco for this show sucking, or even that he was a crappy host. This year was one of the worst award shows I've ever seen. Not really a fan of award shows in general, but this was something special. Every aspect of it was just so poorly executed. Honestly, James Fraco was less annoying than Anne Hathaway, not even saying she was a crappy host or that it's her fault that the Oscars sucked this year. Most award shows suck, anyway
