  • 22 people must play FPS Games and cant play a real games like Starcraft.there intellect is so low as the only words a hardcore FPS Gamer know is eat shit... just type average COD player or /watch?v=g2YE_rQdXYM

  • LMFAO the translation is priceless.. "i like his playing style, i love him!" WTF?

  • @AntiHero81389 They get so much Korean vagina.

  • HOW ARE THEY NOT FAT AND FALLING D:

  • God of destruction ??... I think they mean July, but thats God of War isn't it??

  • @mallement these are their nicknames

  • @mallement TuShin means god of war but it can also mean god of destruction.:)

  • I hate it when oldfaggotycandyass news people try and talk about things they don't know shit about and copypasta from some kid who had to explain it all to them.

This isn't the 1970s and you aren't staying current by making a halfassed story about stuff that only people that care already know. LULZ.

  • these old reporters are way fucking off......

  • shy tis...

  • I'm thinkin' about moving to South Korea to become a professional gamer. My dad thought I was wasting my time playing video games and would amount to nothing as an adult. But when I turn pro, I'm gonna laugh and say, "who's a loser now, dad?!"

  • @scotth602 haha lol but that's gonna take a whole lot of dedication :P

  • THE VIKINGS ARE SO SLOW

  • 11am to 2 am? How long do they expect their eyeballs to last with that kind of exposure to a screen?

  • you gys have no imagination adn hope

  • jaedong!

  • holy shit that early version of sc2 looks so bad

  • @chewyxx2 americans

  • Less the Obesity...WOW!! America would Get Fat...

  • boxer

  • asians can do Everything!!

  • e-athelets..hahaha...awesome!

  • @Vangovin

Seraphiel might be a troll. He/she might be a nascar fan.

  • JD!!

  • starcraft was already there? god damn chinks had a head start

  • @ivelocityi star craft one was there, not starcraft 2

  • @cokefan3 there are sc2 units in that vid just btw

  • @cokefan3 there were thors there and i hope you know that thors are only in SC2

  • @ivelocityi i can tell you're a noob by the way you refer to sc2 as "starcraft"

the "god damn chinks" make so much more than you will ever hope to make, and are the sole reason starcraft is as popular as it is today

they are also smarter, more driven, nicer, more good-looking, and get more bitches than your racist ass can ever see

those "god damn chinks" can beat you in starcraft2 with one hand; they got a "head start" not because they needed it, but because they deserved it.

  • hey, sc2 wasnt release until 2010, but this video was made in 2008

  • @instantdry1 it's the beta i think

  • @instantdry1

Footage of SC2 has been around for a while, though 2008 does seem like about the earliest I could nail down.

  • Was that some pre-beta starcraft 2 in the mix? Man sc2 look shitty.

  • Using strategies like recon and deception is an understatement, these professionals are the closest you'll ever get to being a commander.

  • 1:29 GGAEMO !!

  • Warcraft music ftw at the end LMAO

  • Yeah Starcraft is fun. But playing 10+ hours a day and that is the only thing you do. That is not fun.

  • @Tezzeen players like me and other really expierenced players of the game dont practice 8+ hours a day for the same reaosn you think we do. *that is not fun* everyone is different, my starcraft is another persons football. It's just something i do and really want to make bigger than just * a game*

  • @Manifest222 Yeah ofcourse, i feel the same way now when i got better and play more. I would now like to play alot more than the 2-3 hours a day i play. But the thing is. You dont practice fotball 2-3 hours everyday every week. But what i wrote before doesn't reflect on how i relate to this game now =)

  • @Tezzeen Well it is not different than playing poker or chess 10 hours a day... yes professional practice that much...

  • @ensayofr Well poker and chess are not as fun as playing starcraft. But as i wrote to Manifest222 now i know better since i have become alot better than when i wrote the first comment. I would like to play 6-8 hours instead of 2-3. Alot of things change when you become better at the for this example Starcraft.

  • @Tezzeen That's the point I think you just had a common misjudgement...

  • @Tezzeen thats because its their job. i dont think other professional athletes find practicing all the time "fun" either

  • @Tezzeen Yes it is. You don't have fun... you're just focused. Your brain just optimizes during that time.

  • @Tezzeen Well, if you love your job, you spend average... 7-8hours a day, they just work overtime because they REALLY love it..

  • @Tezzeen I agree. That's why I limit my play to just 9 hours a day.

  • games are not all that bad, and neither is work.

but if its when u choose too much over another that you start ruining ur life.

you live once and shouldnt live it to work your balls off makin money. but you shouldnt play so much that you cant even afford to feed urself. unless you're a professional gamer. there should be a balance where work will feed you and then you can have fun the rest of ur free time.

  • @sung715

yeh bout that......... professional gaming isn't work. growing food by up-keeping a small farm to feed urself & save money, now that's work. this generation is fucked cause they see playin games as work lol. football players get paid too much.

  • @hybridnation

You got negative votes for that comment? lol

  • @MsTheguild its like football or any other proffessional sport

  • @MsTheguild

Offcourse professional gaming is work. They get paid to do it.

The new generation is growing up with video games and its fun to watch someone thats good at it.

  • U noe how much they get paid? Wat a dream job

  • too bad video games are unhealthy:

    webmd com/depression/news/20090820/adults-playing-video-games-health-risks

  • @rr68able STFU

  • @rr68able

is youtube any beter is tv any beter is fast food any beter for u everything in this world is bad for u in a way...

  • @MadBagOfHorses

oh yeah one more thing, football players are physically fit, the vast majority of players are not.

but i'm wasting my time on a troll.

  • @rr68able Really now? There is a down side to everything, you play games regardless of the downside.

Its called LOVE. Love is unconditional, play games for the sake of playing a game and not get rid of it because apparently YOUR EYES HURT after playing for 18 hours of gaming.

Football has alot of injuries, and also probably most fat kids, because kids need to pack on weight to play there sport. Idk about soccer and baseball and what not... but im sure they have a down side.

  • @rr68able Lol happiness is inside you

  • @rr68able I'm a pro-gamer and I have 200-250 APM(action per min.) n sponsor... ARE YOU SAYING IM UNHEALTHY?!

  • @brizihe You forgot nascar.

  • @mustardman32

    "you forgot nascar"

lol! SC2 is WAY more of a sport than Nascar! =P

I'm just trolling, people... Still thought it was a funny addition.

  • @MadBagOfHorses :P Yeah, im just trying to think of every sport that has NOTHING to do with running and jumping since thats what everyone thinks of sports, also golf...

xD SC takes more skill than any of these sports.

  • familyresource com/lifestyles/mental-environment/top-5-reasons-video-games-are-bad-for-you

    stop entertaining yourselves to death

  • @rr68able You can play yourself to death, work yourself to death, drive yourself do death, just plain kill yourself... life is deadly, deal with it?

  • Expressing an opinion isn't the same as typing out incoherent babble due to lack of information. Playing video games is a hobby, not a lifestyle. Period. Stop dodging life with video games.

  • Comment removed

  • It's not their fault that they can make a living that way and most of you can't. But yea, calling them athelete is stupid. I even rolled my eyes when they showed poker on sports channel.

  • I have a big e-pen.

  • @AgesxsegA

"professional gamers are more dedicated then professional athletes"

You have to dance carefully around this one, but you're 100% right. This video mentioned their schedule. How many professional football players do you know that start practice at 11AM and end it at 2AM? How many do whatever timeframe is normal for football practice 7 days a week?

I know most the population literally can't hear the meaning of your statement and so don't believe, but its totally true.

  • @MadBagOfHorses

"How many professional football players do you know that start practice at 11AM and end it at 2AM?"

clearly you're an idiot and/or a fat fuck that has never done any sports.

  • @joyfulvulture

Just sent you a link to my dating profile. Definitely not a fat fuck and I'd be willing to bet I know more about fitness than 80% of America. I don't even know how you got ANY of your conclusions from the part of my statement you quoted. Some Korean SC2 professional gamers practice for 15 hours/day 7days/week. No professional football players practice 15 hours/day. Wtf ya talking about?

  • @MadBagOfHorses

lol... like i give a flying fuck about your dating profile.

football players dont practice 15 hours/day for 7 days/week because their body wont allow it, DUH. 1 hour of football practice is also more demanding than 1 hour of SC2 practice.

what you base yourself on to say SC2 players have more dedication is simplistic and doesnt make any sense. you're a complete idiot.

  • @joyfulvulture

You wanna poke fun at my fitness to make a flat point, I crush that. Now you want to tell me how one dimensional your scope of effort is? The degree of focus and prolonged attentiveness required to even get close to some of these players would be difficult for even Peyton Manning to conjure and maintain.

The reason certain members of the gaming community (would say the IT community) are so passionate about their specialization is because its become equally as legitimate.

  • @MadBagOfHorses The same could be said about these players conjuring up and maintaining Peyton Manning's althetic abilities. "To each their own."

  • @joyfulvulture

See if you can reply without TRYING to personally offend me. I'll save you the trouble by saying it doesn't work.

  • @MadBagOfHorses

cry me a fucking river because you got exposed for the moron with no point you are.

  • @Arch0Angel0Seraphiel

I've got a real job in IT. Guess what it entails? Working on a computer. Literally sit at a desk while doing 100% of my work. My work touches a site with about 1200 people. These professional gamers in Korea provide entertainment, inspiration and motivation for thousands upon thousands of Korean fans.

Don't mistake your unfamiliarity with scope and content for a lack of it in the subject matter.

  • @MadBagOfHorses

oh yeah, it's not the cocaine either.

yeah cocaine isn't addicting or dangerous or cause people to overdose.... lmao you're an idiot, good sir. =)

    (=

  • names like emperor or god of destruction LOLOLOL

  • @zheren91

Haha. You definitely can't tell by the examples of names they picked who's being intentionally demeaning, can you? Lol @ news mediums in general.

  • hot korean bitchs

  • This is every american parents worst nightmare

  • @havik206 Until they see the check.

  • What do you guys expect from the only nation who has a rehabilitation summer camp solely for their so-called internet addicts?

  • @trybalnet06 Why would you go to a rehab summer camp for something that doesn't exist?

  • I'm pretty sure if most of us dropped out of our universities, and focused on gaming, I think we'd have a crap-load of "professional" gamers.

I mean, fuck, maybe I should just drop my focus on electrical engineering (EE), and just play SC2 / any game that will make me a lot of money, and live like that. C'mon, playing from 11 AM - 2 AM for seven days a week? That sounds a lot better than attending classes and studying.

  • @Narmo23 That argument can go reverse too you know, cause I'm pretty sure if most of us dropped games from our lives, and focused on education, I think we'd have a crap-load of "professional" workers.

It's a lot harder than it sounds, I dare you to try and make on the KR Top200 list for SC2, or even harder try being an average pro gamer in original StarCraft: Broodwar. It sounds like a joke, but it takes just as much dedication as going through school to make it as a progamer.

  • Dear Gawd.... I'm Korean, and I need to know where to go to turn in my Korean card.

  • @profnachos right behind you bro

  • their are only few gamers in the world,, if their are rockes hiphop, konyo(kuno) tng ina ILAN lng gamers.. konti namin jajaja

  • @socsci22 what the fucking ape shit are u talking about? some jungle voodoo monkey language?

  • Very cool gamers....but athletes? Not quite...

  • LOLOL JAEDONGS VOICE ACTOR

  • LOL THEY ARE SHOWING SC2 WHICH IS A GAME FOR NOOBS

  • I like how they show clips of starcraft 2 when it hasn't even come out yet

  • @mas3rm1nd You stupid. Maybe didn't come out in america at THAT time but, Korea BEEN had it. ;P

  • Starcraft. If any aliens invade the world, we'll send them out first.

  • damn im south korean and these are the kids id pick on i mean shit...this basically negates all the amazing ACTUAL ATHLETIC things koreans have done in the olympics

  • @DLeeENT there are reasons why they become "pro", they're probably really smart,

  • Starcraft is the only game that I think intelligence can make a difference.

Playing video games is fun, but I don't want to for 12+ hours a day. They are very competitive and if competitive fishing/golfing is a sport so is gaming on a professional level. No it's not hard physically, but there is a reason that only a few gamers get payed (has something to do with entertainment and skill)

  • This is not only a phenomenon that happens in South Korea. It is also in China but with less popularity. Europe is becoming a bigger player as well.

  • "I really love him!"...lame

  • asians are the best at video games. parents i suggest you tell your kids to do their schoolwork. theyll never succeed in the gaming world as long asians walk the earth. and considering asians are the have the largest population on the planet were all doomed some day. well never be able to compete. in the cyber sense. well always have guns but theyll have bombs. well have bombx but theyll have some kind of invisible forcefild thatll send em right back to us. theyll always be a step ahead.

  • True. Asians are above all, the best gamers.

  • lol, well said. can't agree more

  • @frankkalani considering only 55% of americans know that the sun is a star, i say they wouldn't suceed in education either.

  • WHERES THE GOD DAMN FITNESS!

  • Lol...It's only a matter of time til profesional gaming is part of the Olympics and Korea's gonna be the country with all the medals.

  • Why did they talk about Starcraft, and showed Starcraft 2 on the screen?

  • Lol, what a joke, if you're going to talk about Starcraft, show the actual game in all it's glory, not Starcraft 2 no matter how flashy it looks.

  • what a fail

they are talking about starcraft and this joker shows starcraft 2

    two totally different games

  • lol to the noob who said there are no females playing computer games. I've been a gaming nerd since i was able to pick up a controler and learned how to type. I'm a female, and a proud gamer.

  • lol controllers

  • but are you really....

  • Let's see...i was born a female, you know, with a vagina and everything! Grow up.

  • You should see Some of these people play its intersting and sad at the same time

  • Korea started programs designed to get computer addicts to stay away from technology. =/ Lol Korea really does have an awful lot of gamers that are so addicted that the government has to interfere. Kinda funny and sad at the same time.

  • If you knew shit you shouldn't have written that, most countries who are far from as dedicated as korea got programs to get ppl to stop playing games as much. Take sweden as an example.

  • lol....korean sure got no life...

video gamers as athlete?....don't joke man...haha

  • just like nascar right?

  • haha...nascar...

that's a joke too...just racing in circle in some number of laps...

yea sure they need a lot of focus, just becuz they need to maintain at some speed and to dodge some cars so they will crash into each other...other wise, the whole nascar racing takes almost no skills, and there's like no excitement at all...

  • koreans are the HARDCORE of HARDCORE gamers in life lol good shit though they can end games within matter of minutes, complete supremacy!

    Good stuff right there =D

  • they will be near sighted haha and we they go out side, everything will be blurry (poor eyes)

if they gonna play 11am-2am 7 days a week damn.

  • This is no way, shape or form, athletic. nuff said

  • It's an e-sport.

    get real.

sitting in a car is considered a sport

sumo-wrestling is a sport, they'er not really in a "good" shape, are they?

Sport doesnt mean being in a good shape or doing something physically.

  • Who was that famous man who said, "Sports and Athletics were tied at the hip"?

  • My bad I meant weren't. So what if it isn't a physical sport. Its just as competetive, if not more. oh were you blind, those guys have thousands of fangirls. Get no pussy, Your just some jelous Jock faggot because a nerd is getting more money and pussy then all of you and your shitty football team combined.

  • I'd rther go outside into the real world and have a real life with real friends and make real life choices, as opposed to sitting in for 12 hours playing a videogame as practice before playing the game for another 5 hours as "sport".

  • @napalmman420 I guess I can't change your mind, its all personal preference, but think about it, they're making millions playing starcraft.
