  • wtf is it digital?? :O

  • Do you think Subaru will ever implement the DSG transmission system in the Legacy lineup?

  • Never say never. The 2010 won't have it so I guess we'll have to wait some more.

  • ha nice awesome gauges

  • That is one of the coolest dash startups I have ever seen. Sweet dude.

  • Hey thanks :)

  • all the LGT's on youtube are auto...

    its so sad

  • No they're not.

Granted the manuals are better, the autos are no slouches, that's for sure!

  • For the Automatic Legacy GT, does it have manual mode?

  • Yes, they all do. You also have shifters on the steering wheel. The car can go into manual mode any point in time by you pressing any of the shifter buttons, you don't have to put it in manual mode. After a few seconds of not shifting, it will go back to automatic by itself :)

  • Cool!:)

It's basically like Volkswagen's DSG Transmission, right?

  • Not really, it's nothing that fancy. It's basically a standard automatic, it still has a torque converter. A DSG is different.

The new automatics on all Subaru cars are actually able to do rev matching when you downshift.

  • Cool vid. My Stock Grand Am gauges to the calibration Sweep aswell. As do my Prosport Aftermarket Gauges.

  • ...nothing to write home about.

  • Hey, never said there was anything revolutionary about it, I just posted the vid of the sweep. Right, fortunately your ride also features the same looks, multi-tone warm color, none of that flat, mono-tone boring design, right? Right?

  • There is a HUGE difference between an auto and a stick when you are pushing your car. I highly suggest chipping your computer. I just sent away for mine, it adds about 35hp to the wheels believe it or not. I can give you the info.

  • No need for info, thanks, it's called Cobb AccessPort and I can do it myself ;)

The difference is not as big as you claim, I've driven both before making the decision. Also, auto tranny is ARGUABLY a better match for turbo because between shifts there is barely any boost loss. All in all, I was born on manuals but my daily drivers will forever be auto. Manual is for the fun week-end car for me.

  • Trannys I agree; ONLY if you are talking about a built tranny or a performance tranny. Living in traffic (worst in USA) a stick shift gets old real fast. New Porshe turbos are actually faster drag racing than the sticks because of the less than .1 second shifts. Also, the CobbAccessPort is not what I am talking about. Also the Cobb is DEFINATELY NOT the way I would go. Check out EASY STREET MOTORSPORTS. They have been making Subies go faster for longer than just about anyone.

  • Cobb is one of the best tuners out there for Subaru. Proven reliability, proven results, a company with reputation that most importantly, stands behind their products!

  • Great color, its almost as cool as my car (IVE GOT A STICK)

  • Almost as cool ... same car, same gauges. No difference.

  • hot

  • Called it HUD for the lack of a better word :)

  • That's not an HUD dude, those are just your guages.

  • simply amazing...subaru reliability, AWD, turbo, inside and out...love it saving up right now for one
