  • took me 5 years to get to disc two, just to get to disc 2!.... this game rocked, it was just very difficult, especially if you die you lose gold and none of your character except for the Hero would come back alive.

  • i read somewhere that you will have the choice of having either gabo, maribel, melvin, or aira for the endgame. is this pernament or can you switch out your characters if need be?

  • @nynosix That is correct sir. I prefer the team showed on the video because I didn't feel like devoting another 10+ hours training Aira. She came way too late into the game and by the time I got her, most of the heroes had their best classes mastered, so she was hardcore behind everyone else, a real liability she was. So the moment I seen Maribel and Melvin available, I said, gimme them. I used them more than Aira! >:D

  • @Jaymonius Yea same here, Ive mastered every beginning class and one intermediate class for hero, maribel, and gabo. Melvin only has three. Right now I am at level 35 and recent got Aira, which has nothing to bring to the table. So yea I guess that's best. So when I choose my final party will it be pernament or could I get Aira later? (not that it would matter)

  • @nynosix Well when you beat Disc 1, Melvin will leave the party temporarily and Maribel will rejoin. And then when the final dungeon is available to access, you can have the option of having Melvin back by switching with Maribel or something. I can't remember honestly, to be completely honest, I want Keifer back, that'd be epic.

  • @Jaymonius hey im having a hard time getting immigrants in DWVII. I have 27 and just beat the first disc and now i'm working on getting more immigrants. i have a online guide telling me where they are but what it doesn't tell me is how long until i go in/out of a place til i see them and exactly where they are in the building, since i need to position myself so i can see them and not miss them. any advice?

  • i wish i hadnt lost this game

  • If you're still having problems with your PSOne emulator, let me know via PM. I've finally got a set up going with ePSXe that seems to run DW7 nearly perfectly. Most importantly, the sound is much better than in this video. =P

  • @MasterInsan0

Use pSX. It's a much better emulator; google it

  • Oooh, I didn't notice a video response to this, ha ha.

  • Rhapthrone may have been generic, but Orgodemir was pretty horrible too. My favorite remains Death Pisaro though.

  • I liked Orgodemir! >:

  • Hey Jaymonius. Doing a second playthrough of this awesome game in the series. Trying to limit myself on leveling this time. I am going to try and beat Orgodemir at a lower level then you. It is very impressive you beat him at level 39 though ;) I'll try to beat him with my Hero at like 37.

  • What IS the recommened level to beat this guy :S

  • Not sure, but the battle looked pretty tough at level 39 and I know the final dungeon is certainly no joke either.

  • The average level in every Dragon Quest game is 35 to 40 endgame.

  • @GodIkeKefka In my opinion, Psaro was an awesome villain because he was a tragic figure who could be deciphered as good when you look at both points of view. In fact, it's the exact same story as the hero's. You realize that at the bonus chapter. Orgodemir is awesome because he makes you go through a lot of amazing journeys. So Psaro is different from the other final bosses while Orgodemir is the same, only much, much more epicer. So I can't choose between Psaro and Orgodemir.

  • @koopaling009 Well, an easy way to decide is that Psaro is more epic because his final form has more phases than Orgodemir, but one of my reasons I like Orgodemir because is also considered the Devil in this game. Plus I like his battle music.

  • rhapthorne was probably the most generic of all the final "omnipotent demon lord" bosses.... he was just so... plain... and his voice acting sounded like any random kid trying to sound evil lol... all the previous final bosses were so cool lookin

  • For an rpg the music sure is underwhelming.

  • I remember winning this with ease, I just used UltraHit with every other character than Melvin, he was using Guard. Then he would take all the damage while others stayed untouched. Then I healed him when necessary. It was kinda easy.

  • I hate using UltraHit, it costs so much MP... >_>; I might make another vid of me just using that and see how far that gets me.

  • Seeing as how Ultrahit does 500+ each use it's worthwhile. Have it on three characters all of them use it 1,500+ damage done in one round. Orgodemir with all his forms HP combined has around 12,000-14,000 HP. So, he goes down in less then ten rounds using Ultrahit. Ultrahit costs 20 MP and if one character has 200 MP they can use it ten times to do 5,000 by themself. So, in reality Ultrahit would have made Orgodemir much shorter.

  • Dark Dream (Dragon Warrior 6) would own Orgodemir just like he owned Deathtamoor. Good fight!

  • Yeah, well God could own Dark Dream!! >:3

  • I actually think they'd be evenly matched, but that's just me.

  • Well I have to admit in the cutscene where God seals Melvin he looked very awesome.

  • he so awsome, but probably one of the most dificult boss i have ever faced in my life

  • "I am Orgodemir, king of all beings and ruler of the heavens." Screw that! He's got NOTHING on Lord Dragon (Dragon Lord/Dragonlord/Dracolord)!

  • I hate this boss so much he has four forms and took me forever to level up my characters and learn new skills to beat this guy!
