Bklynballerplaya, blind/deaf people develop a sort of 'sixth sense'. One that neither your nor I can fully grasp an understanding of.

For example (this doesn't happen to everyone, maybe just me):

when you take a pencil or a sharp object and put it near your forehead, you get a sort of tingling sensation. I'm guessing it's sort of like that for blind/deaf people, but I could be entirely wrong.
