I took some voice lessons in Italy and I asked my teacher what he would call Bjorks vocal style and he said soprano rubusto without even thinking...he made it up just for her. I was surprised he even knew who she was, but he obviously had thought about her style. I guess if you wanted to assign a Fach to her it would be dramatic soprano because of the power of her voice.
