@ClubPenguinTvFan TV didn't have to be made when the movie came out. Films were being made since around 1898 and that is waaay before TV. You would have only been able to see the movie in a theater as it was printed on film.

The Little Mermaid started it for me. I mean I know I saw Disney movies beforehand but when TLM came out I fell in love with the movie! Beauty and the Beast was also my favorite after that. I hope Disney will bring back that style of movie into their next projects.

Also Lilo and Stitch and Brother Bear are my favorites too!

you know what I want; a collectors box set of disney films....a REAL set; unedited, as the films were originally presented with the original poster art, insight from real disney animators and documentaries on the 9 old men. Honest stuff without the tons of adverts, mini games and overexposed colors. I don't care if I have too pay $200 for just a set of 6 movies, if they are treated with care and presented with honest respect for the artists that made them then every cent is worth it

To be honest, it makes my heart ache to know of what Disney has become, but at least it's reign of succession lasted for such a very long time.Nothing lasts forever of course, but I'm glad to have grown up when the Disney movies were amazing. Some, to this day are great, but they'll never match the classics.
