@ Friedstuffsable, very much agree with the Mec-Gar mags. I use the 15 & 17 rounders in my S&W 5906, Kel-Tec SUB2000 & even my Kel-Tec P-11 when I'm at the range. They make mags for many manufacturers (OEM). Highly recommend them. Google Greg Cote for good deals on all Mec-Gar mags... great prices & great customer service.

Mec Gar. 17 rounders. $30ish. They work great. For a 9x19 pistol of this heft it should have max capacity. This thing feels great with the heavy steel & low impulse of the 9x19. For the sub $300 pistols it can't be beat.

I have one similar to that .It is a 5967 model,very rare.My brother gave it to me so he can make some room for his springfield xdm pistols...ha! buy anyway,I like the gun very much,the grip is pretty meaty on it though.

No, we use Beretta 92's. They are around the same weight. I like shooting the S&W more than the Beretta so far.

@zombiekillerjordan Pawn Shops and Gunshops will get police trade-ins from time to time. Call around your area and see which ones deal with the LE agencies in your locale. Also, Gunbroker has S&Ws on auction occasionally, though the DA / SA 5906's are getting hard to come by it seems lately...

Yeah, I lucked into them.. The funny thing is too, that the laser was intermittent on one of the two activation buttons and Crimson Trace sent me a brand new set, even before I sent teh old ones in, along with a T Shirt "for my trouble". No questions asked!
