The AI squadron that is with you is so retarded. if you crash, they fly into the ground. if you go a bit then stop on a runway, all of however many there are will all crash into you and each other. they will turn into each other and blow up...

The pilots that used their aircraft as battering rams were part of Sonderkommando ELBE, which was a branch of the Luftwaffe equipped with old Bf-109s, which were stripped from armement, and loaded with an insignificant machine gun in order to "protect" themselves. But Hitler deployed them too late, so it did not have any effect in the war.

So yes in conclusion, your statement is 100% true.

@aimhoff82 As you go faster your wings will gradually produce more and more lift. The solution (short of slowing down, which may not be possible depending on the situation) is to either adjust your elevator trim (Not sure of the default keystrokes, you'll have to check your controls in the options) or to hold constant forward pressure on the stick.

I heard that BF109 pilots used to crash their planes into B 17s similar in the way you did... but I believe they aimed at taking out the tail (coz it's so huge). I tried and somewhat succeeded but i hit the Feuselage and my plane blew up :P
