  • Homosexual activists understand the power of words.

    Please visit my channel to watch a one-minute video clip in which popular atheist author Richard Dawkins admits that homosexual activists "hijacked the word 'gay'".

    The word "homosexual" is more appropriate and accurate because it, unlike the word "gay", actually describes the behavior/attraction/relationsh­ip being discussed.

    The word "gay" helps homosexual activists push their agenda.

  • By the way ... going without sex is not the "end of the world". Geesh . When you are on your death bed, your sexual preferences won't matter to you. What will matter, is what you've done with Jesus. Whatever it was within me that created the cocktail for homosexual desires 35 years ago was immediately quenched upon meeting Jesus.   • @SusieArviso for being gay. And as for the limits on sex... again, the Bible was never referring to two men or two women involved in a committed, faithful, loving, monogamous relationship. The way you interpreted it is an unfortunate fallacy that does not reflect God's true ideals. I agree, our lives should be all about what He wants... but what if He wants us to be happy? It isn't good for a man or a woman to be alone. That's coming straight from the Bible.

  • Tell GOD this, rad. Convince HIM. I said before ... when a person gives their life to Christ, they are saying yes to living for Christ and obeying His Word. It is no longer about "me me me" anymore. It's about Him and what HE wants. It's one thing to have homosexual desires. It's another to practice homosexual sex. There are no limits to how much we can love. Yet there are limits on sex.

It is a love synonymous to the love that a straight man feels towards women, or vice versa. That kind of love results in marriage (hopefully), blissful happiness, and maybe even a family.   • I lived as gay up until I met Jesus. When I met Him (the great equalizer) all my issues fell to the ground as non-issues. I became a brand new person with different desires than what my flesh dictated before. I also found myself so in love with Jesus that I had no desire to pursue homosexuality. Anyone who thinks they are a Christian and practices homosexuality is a deceived person who will have a rude awakening after they pass on.

  • @radicaldreamer927 , Correction ... anyone can say they are gay and a Christian, but that doesn't make them a Christian. Even living a moral and clean life cannot make us a Christian. Being born again means we no longer live for ourselves anymore, but for the Lord. We obey His Word and follow it. You cannot obey the scripture and practice homosexuality at the same time. It's an oxymoron.

  • @SusieArviso The word does not condemn homosexuality. The verses that people believe were referring to all homosexuals were actually referring to specific cases of temple prostitution to honor the fertility goddess, Cybele. As for Sodom and Gomorrah, there was a whole bunch of other stuff going on that condemned them, and let me just say that a few men in the city wanting to gang rape another man is VERY different from two people of the same sex in a loving, committed relationship.

I met Jesus on March 6th, 1977 in an unexpected encounter and my life completely changed. You don't know the power of God. It's not about ME anymore. It's all about Him. We can't choose to be gay or straight, and God has absolutely no interest in changing how He made us in the first place. If gay people make an effort to change, they are saying in God's face "No, the way you made me is not good enough." Don't you see how disrespectful that is to God? I know the power of God. The best we can do is live with it and make the most of it while still putting God before everything else. I mean come on, if straight people can manage that, then gay people can as well.   • @SusieArviso Or at least saw some correlation between the two. Let me be perfectly clear: Gay people come in all colors. There are gay people who abuse drugs and alcohol, and there are gay people who strongly disapprove of such things. I fall in the latter category. So the lady quit doing drugs... fantastic, I couldn't be happier for her for doing so! However, it had nothing to do with her sexual orientation.

They called to Lot, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them.”

    God destroyed them for their grievous sins included homosexuality. Rom 1:27 which says "the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another men with men.

The word Arsenokoites speaks of Pederasty (sexual child abuse) and Malakois (speaking of being morally soft .. or amoral).

  • Yes, "transformational inclusion" is an interesting term defining how Christ compassionately healed illness and showed tax collectors and prostitutes the error of their ways. Yet since there is nowhere in the Gospels He speaks of homosexuality, it is quite arguable this term may not at all apply to the topic of discussion.

There would still be many countries that prohibit it. Would that mean that American homosexuals are accepted, while, say Iranian homosexuals are not, even if both believe similarly in God.

    You need to realise that God does not follow the constitution of the US or any other country's for that matter to decide His righteousness.

Again, since Christ stated nothing about sexaul relations within marriage, He just MAY recognize formal and informal marriages of either orientation. I agree that no nation's laws decide our Lord's will, neither neccessarily does the personal viewpoint of an indivdual persion nor that of any religous institution.

Everyone who accepts Christ agrees on transformational inclusion -that is we die to ourselves and are made alive in Christ and as we continually strive to live for Him and mature (emphasis's on continually strive to live for Him and His ways) we are being made Holy. Conforming to the will of God not our own will.

    It is our Lord's will we strive to understand and follow. Many Christians have different ideas and beliefs as to precisely what His will is.

    Agreed, the Bible has been used to justify slavery, gender and racial opression upon which many Christians had been certain Christ (at least as THEY knew Him) had mandated. It's why the opposition to homosexuality could be from one's OWN "imaginary Jesus.:"

But a Christian must be a believer who searches the scripture seriously and carefully for the meaning of the Bible on its own, not changing its meaning for any reason. If not then we get "Christian Atheists" -People who say they believe in God but live as if He doesn't exist (that's a book by the way, and its really good).

    It's not about any "changing" of meaning but of different interpetations among Christians which have existed from the dawn of Christianity.

  • @clay56 Yeah you're right. I'm part of the Christian Church/Church of Christ denomination and there are other denomination within Christianity. There are other denominations, in which some, I do not agree with their doctrine but I still acknowledge them as Christians -Like Baptists, Pentecostal and so forth... SO to rephrase, I would say a Christian is a person who believes in Jesus Christ and lives for Him, according to His Word and guidance from the Holy Spirit to the best of their knowledge.
