@RWM319 Merriweather is Overated..Chung isn't afraid to tackle and gets down like Charlie Brown. Although his height is a problem, his hitting pays for it. Last year he got hurt...he was on fire..but then got hurt and did ok.

Dowling doesn't make fancy interceptions. He doesn't have the fastest legs in the nfl... He simply LIGHTS PEOPLE UP for a living. Period.

College success doesn't always translate into NFL success as we know, and CB is one of the hardest positions to make it especially with the receivers in the NFL. Hes got a big challenge but i think he will defiantly become a great NFL Corner.

Meriweather is not terrible, hes not great, but hes not terrible. He makes plenty of plays still, but probably would be much better suited on a cover 2 defense like the Colts or Bucs.

I realize that free safety is part of the secondary. I realize he made the pro bowl, again. My 4-year-old niece knows these things, which doesn't speak well to your knowledge of my team.

Yes, he's the best center fielder on the team, right NOW. And he'll be in a contract year the next time he plays, but I think he'll be traded. Chung can do what he does and won't make the mental and physical mistakes that Meriweather does. Bad angles, bad tackling, and evidently >>

he's an idiot in the locker room. He was a healthy scratch a couple times last year because Belichick felt he wasn't taking direction very well. He was freelancing too much and was CONSISTENTLY out of position, giving up big plays. Remember when he tackled MCCOURTY and let a touchdown get through? Or when he hit Heap? Probably not. Idiot.

Tough to say, but I don't think there'd be a big dropoff with a healthy combo of Chung, Sanders, Page, and McGowan, with Josh Barrett returning to form after missing all of the 2010 season.
