S-300V,S-300PMU able to engage all US theatre systems and S-400 capable of engaging even ICBMs, ICBMs... 40N6 with a speed upto 12 mach and 185km flight ceiling can to counter single ICBM warheads. these systems small warhead and high altitude performance thats the only problem. that doesnt mean they cannot engage ICBM class. also there is no connection between S-300,400 units and Anti-ICBM station.

Firstly, they were not "old badly maintained SCUDs". They were upgraded variants of SCUDs designed specifically by Iraq. They were made in the 1990s new, based on the PRINCIPLES of the SCUD but they were Iraqi made.
The Patriot missiles had 95% accuracy but 100% intercept, because they fired multiple missiles.
@Heaney5551 designed by Iraq, doesnt mean anything. upgraded or not they were badly maintained. Even US military raid reports clearly pointed out that. US examined captured SCUDs several times and improved Patriot to track them. Yeah SCUDs were rough and reliable but they stored under poor conditions(for a tactical missile). second time Patiot learned how to track SCUD, but accuracy was not so good.

In desert storm they had the old MIM-104A Patriots
Today the latest version is the MIM-104F Patriot PAC-3.
It has been upgraded EXTENSIVELY and while in Desert Storm it performed poorly- in the Iraq war it performed with a 95% probability of kill.
So your information is right, it's just 20 years outdated.

Now as for the S-300 and S-400. The MIM-104F Patriot PAC-3 is SUPERIOR in capability to them. The S-300 and S-400 are no match for the PAC-3.
The S-500 is still in the DESIGN PHASE and won't be in production for maybe a decade, so why are you talking about it?
Even the S-400 isn't in *active* service yet.
Number of launchers:
Patriots = 1100+
S-300 = 953
S-400 = 48
So as you see, there's no point in talking about the S-500 when the S-400 isn't even deployed yet!
