Gene is fabulous always. What a voice. I have different versions of him singing this super hit and I love them all.

We saw him in person at Renfro Valley Entertainment Center here in Kentucky back in August and he was as great as everyone who had met him said he was. one of my fav country songs. I saw Gene at Countryfest in Dungannon in August 2008. The headline act was George Jones other acts included Ricky Skaggs and Nancy Griffiths as well as a lot of Irish country artists. Gene was by far the best of the Americans. He performed in shorts and t-shirt as the flight company had lost their luggage but it didnt make a difference. Himself and his band were terrific. His voice hasnt changed a bit.
