  • this is illegal but nobody cares cuz its awesome!!! XD

  • @remektheyoshifan103 While I agree it is fun the fact is this, like all NES/Familcones produced after 2003 are NOT illegal, they may be considered unethical since Nintendo receives no $ from their sales in the eye of the law they have been legal since 2003 when Nintendos Famicom patent dates expired. You can check the FAMICLONES article at Famicom world site or google "are famiclones legal?" to see various links confirming this.

  • this is illegal

  • @remektheyoshifan103 no it isn't.

  • @remektheyoshifan103 no its not dickhead, the nintendo patent went out in 2003

  • ok, awesome video realy good.

i just have one question. regarding the battery life of the unit.

(not the cotrollers or the zapper) but the unit itself.

how long does it last with full batterys and does it take rechargable ones?

cuz some devices dont, which sucks. sub'd.

  • @0M9H4X Thanks, rechargeable work fine they are all I use. The trick is to make sure you buy very high capacity rechargeable they are not all they same. I use ones rated between 2500-2650 mah. I cannot tell you how long they last as I have not played them long enough to drain completely and I just do not have the time to do that kind of testing.

  • omg i soooooooo want one! I have all my nintendo games still but no nintendo and the fact that this not only is portable like gameboy is but it can be hooked into the tv with an adapter! thats awesome man thanks for sharing that treasure of info :)

  • I liked your review.

You should have ran the game video to a capture card of some sort so that we can see the quality without camera and tv factors. I wish you made mention whether or not its accurate in picture color and sound and if there is lag during buisy moments. Some clones play well but lack in accurate output. The wireless light gun is such a big feature i wish you used more to show how well it works. These are just small details that you should consider for a 3rd supplement video.

  • Great video I must say. Hey have you tried a Game Genie on this yet? That would make quite a scene if it were to be played in public

  • LOL! Not yet but I plan to try it......

  • @SicSolution I know it's been almost a year but I had been sorting through my collection and had a opportunity to test. I tried 2 games (LOW G MAN / SKY SHARK) several codes and they appeared to have no effect at all. Good chance you know this already but I figured since I tested I might as well post the results. The Game Genie booted and I entered codes but they appeared to have no effect on my FC Mobile II OR my new Retron 3. Seems it is not NOAC compatible.

  • very neat

  • awesome vid ma' man!

I've been wanting one of these for a while.. =)

  • Thank you very much...........

  • with the genesis mobile now and this.. they need a snes one... i would be in heaven.. great review. not sure if i want this or just get a retro duo.

  • Thanks, well I got this just to have something, more of a novelty really. I expect to get the real deal at some point in the future.

  • @snkjack FC 16 Go man.

  • Looked like the power switch was giving you some trouble at the top there. Is it tough to switch on or something?

  • No not really, I kept switching it on/off wondering why it was not displaying until I realized my TV was not set for the proper input................

  • Great review man!! I enjoyed it. Definitely an improvement over the first model. Is this one also Made in China? The TV Output looks amazing!

  • This definitely looks like an improvement on the original. They finally got the B and A button layout correct! I can't imagine how ridiculous someone would look in public with it though lol. Great review!

  • Thank you. Yes playing in public would likely get some stares, might reveal any true classic gamers though lol!

  • Just watched both parts. A very thorough and well done review!

  • Thanks!

  • stoneagegamer is tha man

  • nicely done review. very well thought out.

  • Thanks. I appreciate that. Sometimes I think I babble on to much, that's just me being me, so appreciate comments like yours.

  • Great review. The FC Mobil II certainly has imporoved on the original in many ways. I think it looks better too! The flap ain't no big deal I can see how that would break easy.

  • Yep not bad for the price. I think it would be funny, be out on a bus or somewhere if I see someone on their DS or PSP, whip this out and shove a cartridge in it lol!

  • Looks cool! I was interested in getting the GenMobile device, maybe I will get it from Stone age and do a review of that as a response!

  • Good idea I am really tempted on that. Looks much better than the RetroGen..............

  • Im really impressed over how nicely the gun worked!

  • It is a pretty nice gun!

  • Could you do a small side-by-side of the guns? Original zapper and the FC2 gun? It's smaller, isn't it?

  • NOPE!

Because I don't have an original Zapper lol!

  • Reminds me ... I took the controller and memory card slots off my Wii and put them away ... because I knew otherwise i would just break them myself.

    Aberran

  • LOL!

  • I have to agree with you on the fc mobile 1 button lay out it was stange as all hell playing punch out

  • Very cool little unti there

  • Excellent videos. I'd be really interested in one of these units. Thanks RD! :)

  • Nice two parter! Curious after these Sega compatible units. They even have a Nes, Genesis compatible unit!???!????

  • The only other I am interested in is the GenMobile Sega handheld. Was not impressed with the review of the RetroGen at least not in comparison but we will have to wait until actually release to compare........

  • it seems alot of these clones have issues with the door,i have a clone that had that problem and just took the door out

  • Yeah too bad. Well, I guess if something has to be screwy than that is it lol! I still want a REAL NES eventually of course..................
