Playing as a Engineer make you do more interesting things in combat instead of just shot dodge shot dodge etc. It's like a Mass Effect "Batman" :D

you can only hack like machines not human thats the the down side so don't get too exited of controlling enemies

I think I like blowing stuff up too much to play as an Engineer. Looks pretty cool, though.

omg i played the game in soldier but engineer looks so awesome i'm really impressed about freezing and hacking into your enemies to become allies thats so awesome

The Soldier, Vanguard, and infiltrator were my favorite classes in ME1.
