Wow. I remember those days. I was there almost every weekend, around 97-98. I feel bad for the club kids today. They dont even understand how it was. They dont understand that whats around today wouldnt even be considered clubs back then. Its sad, but the club days are long gone!!! We have now entered a lounge/bar erra.
1992-1997, for me the best years in nyc house scene. the tunnel, limelight, sound factory bar, sound factory, caffiene..and many, many a wharehouse party...i loved the sweat, the drugs, battling, chicks with platform addidas, the smell of angel dust, the candy-flip of acid and exctasy. for me it was never about where i was..it was always about the house music...DEEP HOUSE MUSIC.
If you were there you would understand its more than just the music, it was definately about the space the people just that whole 90's early 2000 era, ya know when NYC was know for its awsome nightlife before the whole real estate explosion
why is everyone saying those were the good lold days?? that shit still going on at places like studio b, sullivan room. love and more people got to understand that pacha is not what the undergroound is.
Ahh gettin those chills up my spine.. Feenin for just one more night Big ups to Peter Gatian & Greg Gumo ..That's a Plasickmans Spastik Track mixed with The Age of love both tracks are memorable ones...i miss the good days !
if anyone has any more clips of this club..dam please let me see them.. all them chics and models or whatever all over the place... some of the best booty I ever had was gotten at this place....limelight yeah so so,.. that palladium,.. yeah went there maybe once or twice.. lime light I went to ALOT too.. but the tunnel,.......shit,... dam getting in that place sometimes was nutz...being picked out as you walk up and theres a million people out there is a crazy feeling...
Not true that dark haired queen would get in moods .... I was a girl he didn't always let me in ruined my whole night..lol Factory I ALWAYS got in walked right through the ropes from my cab.
my years was 94, 95 and then that was it... and dam that was the shit for real...at least I thought so.. I was there when they had the skateboard ramp at the end of the dance floor,.. that was my ticket in untilo I could get in and they knew me and would point me out throw the crowd..god ya gotta love that
@joeyballs30 > Tunnel was amazing in it's own right. But, to say that it was better than Sound Factory, now that is just crazy talk. I have memories of Tunnel, so I am grateful to have had the chance to experience it. Sound Factory was the general of the club scene army back then...all the others were just the troops fighting the battle.
Tunnels bathrooms were killer!!!
