i agree the e500 is one of the best.. i own a 1991 190e and i love it so much

after 300,000 and 20 years it still peels rubber and gets 25mpg

i drove a 450slc 1973 the other day and i think i fell in love with it too.. i think the 70's is when benz was pushing quality that is even unmatched today.. and will NEVER be matched again since todays standards are lower. I recommend every benz lover to drive a 1973 450slc and tell me how smooth it rides..

There are many E500 in Tokyo area in Japan. I used to want my dad to buy a E500 LTD with Sapphire black color when I was a kid but he bought Audi S6......Anyway, there are not many E500 in the U.S. But I saw one last night on a freeway. When I saw it, I didn't think that was E500, I thought that was E320 instead. Since it was at night, it was hard for me to distinguish at first. But I speeded up to check up on the car's front fender and knew it was E500. E500 is probably more rare than Ferrari

The one at 0:07 is E500 LTD and the color is Sapphire Black. I can tell. The best sedan ever built to date. Mercedes has not made better car since this golden era in my opinion. 500E was used to be built at Porsche factory and Mercedes factory.

These W124's were assembled Porsche's Zuffanhausen facility on the same production line as the Porsche 959 and Porsche Carrera GT. This particular Mercedes-Benz has a unique heritage. The lucky mortels that own these 500E/E500's may not know how special these cars really are!

That 5,0 litre V8 is one of the best engines Mercedes has ever made.

could be like 4.6 liter but always around the 5 liters, which is cuite a lot, and it's a V8 engine ;-)
