I'd like to do this kind of operation but I'm really scared about the outcome. Heard of many failed attempts (some badly) plus I'd really like to be heavily sedated during something like this. I tend to be quite nervous
HOW MUCH COST THAT EYE SURGERY!!!,MMM I NEED TO WORK 3 LIFES TO MAKE A SURGERY LIKE THAT ,I ASLO HAVE PROBLEMS WITH MY EYES ,BUT TODAY EVERY THING IS FUCKING EXENSIVE!!!!! ONLY FUCKED RICH PEOPLE DESERVE THAT
Can I point out that one of my friends had this done and he even had complications but he said it was pain free although it felt ever so slightly uncomfortable at times it worked 100% and he said it was a life changing operation (for the better of course.)
true but he was only at the stage of typing her data into the computer, all of the stuff in this video could have came afterwards.. but true.. he seemed to be missing a doctors lisence and people to help him operate hahaa
I have done this. Relax, its nothing dangerous. You dont even feel that you're eye tissue is opened, or anything because of the anestetic. It isn't that bad as it looks.
i dont understand, when i open my eyes and not blink for a few seconds, my eyes start to burn, so will the patient here not feel that? or if i got this done, would it be like im being tortured lol.? how the hell can you not have burning eyes when getting this done?
@kanayd this kind of operation is not painful. the cornea is put back. when I was operated the only option was cutting the cornea off so I suffered terrible pains until it grew over again. anyway I'm glad I did it coz wearing spex or lenses was much worse (spex aren't suitable for winter and I didn't feel well with my toric lenses in the evening - blurred vision and uncomfortable feeling).
well this is some really scary shit but i think i would do it if they had the ability to purposley blind you (temperarily) first because if i HAVE to be aware and awake of the operation i would very much not see it in action because if they make it pain free and you cant see what thier doing its not scary anymore like heart surgery who the fuck would WANT to be awake during that! so unless they can turn OFF my vision b4 operation.....sorry but no thank you ill stick to other means!
Me: dude, i HATE these glasses!!!... i wanna know something about that "laser surgery"...*watches this video*.......these glasses are not that bad....heheheh...
but actually this is a very old method now, they dont paint your eye or put those things there, just open it (the same way U see in the video, then the computer finish the rest
@melgaisaac When the surgeon cuts the flap, your vision completely goes. You see black, except for a red flashing dot infront of you. When the laser starts firing, you see blue sparks in your eyes - similar to the sparks on a gas cooker.
@melgaisaac THe doctor is using the other method, he puts aneasthetic in the eye and the patient doesn't feel anything. At the same time cannot see the laser and the surgery clearly because his eyes aren't focused yet....
@510masterofdisaster yeah its call PRK photorefractive keratectomy...it's a similar process without cutting the cornea how ever it's more painful once the eye drops lose effect, but it'll heal faster it'll take up to 2-3 days for the irritation to go away, with LASIK it doesn't hurt as much afterwards but it takes a long time to heal up
But what happens if the water cooler bubbles and a cup of water falls on the plug point and the laser malfunctions and the power increases and you reach for the remote but it falls and the machine turns on and slices your eyeball open and burns lines into your hand and you rip the speculum out of your eye but you get your head out of the clamp but trip on a teddy bear eye and fall through a window and hit a car and your eyeball falls out and get's run over?
