To all Artists who paint Native People from 'The Old Days' circa 1800`s and pre dates. Notice the old ones faces, see any EYEBROWS??? In that time most Native Peoples of Great Turtle Island plucked and waxed facial hair as this was a Social norm. With the exception of a few Tribes, particularly from the Northwest. When depicting them, keep this in mind. Period People had no facial hair. Especially eyebrows. Thanks!
A Slavic speaking Macedonian... LOL! What a fraud!!!
You are the only nation in this planet that has stolen a part of the history of another nation.
I really feel sorry for you. You try hard to find a glorious past for your nation but repeating falsified facts make you look so ridiculous... Accept what you really are. Then the rest of the nations will take you seriously.

lol angeleysvcansee you crazy man is that you're point of view for tha first man to walk on you're scruby lan :/ is that really what you think the plucking of bird's feathers omg man get out of that sect that you're in! Jeez...
Only a racist would say the video sucks. This shows a proud and beautiful people that character shows on their faces and the honesty in their eyes as well as the sadness for their losses
no matter what video ive seen with this its still so moving..the greatest gift for all would be for these brave and proud people restore their former honour and put us all to shame by showing the way of living without greed, yes they have a different attitude to their former past but its the direction they have been given no choice of,give them their land cruelly taken from them back, many have a warm heart for this great nation of people, give them back their lands.
Thanks for sharing your history, your honored traditions, values and way of life. there are many in this world who don't understand the Native Peoples culture, and great spirtuality in regards to nature and the land. I think it is through the opening of dialogue and understanding can the new governments learn, and at least be willing to make true peace with the keepers of the land.
space is too limited to go deeper into this here. But, at least I am for one willing to work to at least begin.
What we must realize is that America is nothing but a bully boy system...If we dont do it their way it is wrong, the same with christianity..let the people live and America you are not always right...live and let live ..America grow up..
shouldn`t we just abandon our offices, factories and cities and say goodbye to our modern destructive lifestyles?..
If everybody does this at a similar time the world will come to a near standstill..like it was before this global industrialisation began. we must change our ways, why not adopt the indigenous american way of life? Even multinational coorporations will be robbed of their power when we all choose to stop cooperating at once..
Native Americans are the people I respect the most. I think that United States government should honor them the right way after all bad things white people have done to them. They should make a real effort to restore their culture. The destruction of Native American people is amongst biggest shames mankind has ever done. When I thinkd of it I feel ashamed too....
america was and always be indian territory,we stole them land,it should be on the side of stalin and hitler has one of the biggest genocides of all times!!!!!!!
my grandmother is of aztec decent and my grandfather was a mestizo (spanish and aztec),my grandmother told me that in mexico she had to speak spanish in order to get by she was part of a tribe when she was younger, she also has a farm in mexico, puebla and she says that she loves it there because she can see the trees, she also told me that she likes to walk around the river
it is really sad what happened to the native people,i mean just imagine people killing your aunt, uncle, sister, mother, father, friend, children i would be so sad if that happened to me
Yea and sorry but it was your family that drove them out.Your gov uses you to fight their pittyful sqabbles for power.Time to change and unite all as 1.

true words do mean alot. but when it comes down to the remorse of the us govt that lies and steals land that was onced clamed to no man. We trully see the true side of the american govt we live in today. The buffalo will once rise again, live strong my brothas and sistas from ALL NATIONS. Lete our power of words be heard instead of our weapons!!
WORD! It makes me ashame to call myself an American, I started to feel unAmerican when I started learning about what happened to the Indians. I started feeling like I am a treaspassing thief. God! I wish for a method of time travel then see what I could do. Anyways in my heart when someone ask me what land is this, I reply 'The Indian man's land, not the white man's'. Hell I don't even like politians.
hey who is the guy wearing the buffalo pelt? I keep him in other native american videos but i dont quite know who he is...think i seen him in the ghost dance video...yeah thats him...he shows up at about 02:06.
I admire very much the Native Americans, they are people who are in touch with nature and not only admire it but are in touch with it. From Spain all I can say is thank you for posting this video. You should be very proud of your Granfather cherryjake.
The singer is Kee C. Jake, hes from Chinle AZ on the Navajo Reservation. he passed away Sept 11 1999, he was a rancher and traditional man. I'm his granddaughter, we miss him so and his music will live forever. He also did other songs on an album called "Brule(Brew-lay)" One Nation, songs "faded glory" and "warriors circle".... Much Love to all...hope you enjoy...
This song is very moving and one of the best ever! I have no idea what they are saying but I know all the words! I cant get enough .. thanks for posting! <3
