  • They used several types of shellfish but mainly murex to make tyrian purple still used by royalty today

  • @TheBullionBoy good job. thanks for the info

  • In the century since the creation of the Federal Reserve, the ratio's been all over the place. The key is that it's bottomed at or around 16 three times in the last century — 1919, 1968 and 1980.Silver is headed back toward 16. Sixteen was the ratio for centuries before massive silver discoveries in the Americas in the 1800s

  • @savgal1211 you always give the best comments :)

  • how can you be suspect of SLA intentions when you make all these videos always at least a few a day with the click adds on them? what are barnone's intentions? youtube is just a source of income?

  • @futureworksexpress you seem to judge me a lot these days. If you are not happy with my channel then why be here? You do not make sense. If you do not agree with the fact that the ads I place ( Which I NEVER TELL ANYONE TO CLICK ON THEM) Are allowing me to earn a small income then do not follow my channel. TO nit pick about that is just being petty.

  • @barnone11967 -- Im responding to your comment about SLA and Mike Maloney Max Kiser. You also have other motives and its hypocritical for you to make the statements you did. Im not judging or nit picking, but stating the obvious. When you put yourself out there for people to view you will get their opinions. If you cant deal with it, then maybe you shouldnt make videos

  • @futureworksexpress Why do you even care? Chris is doing a great job in here. You know, I was in a pinch and needed that "special something" for all of my employees last Easter. Guess what I did Future? I clicked. Yup. And you know what I learned from that one click? "That it does not matter if you are looking to celebrate a special milestone, express sympathy, encouragement or profess undying devotion, flowers are the perfect ambassadors for any tender emotion." So relax. ;)

  • SLA is OUT OF STOCK!

    prices there $37!!

    check the site!

  • @martinzwanenburg Bullshit, another thick too scare you to sell.

  • @davidlee110

    that won`t scare me!

it would scare me way more if they start selling 1000 Oz bars for that money :P

out of stock are GOOD signs! banks are buying back!

gonna upload new vid about it in 5 minutes!

  • @martinzwanenburg Dude, the dollar is not picking up shit!

    it still under 75

  • @davidlee110

    EURO is dropping too,...

    watch last upload!

get any silver investor to see this one!!!

    /watch?v=XLe1OBbRAW8

  • @martinzwanenburg Yuan is dropping faster then all.

  • salt!

  • @quahogger316 Good question. I don't pay attention to the SLA at all, but just read their stuff. They have someone in there saying Ag is going to 18. This might be the full dip already. 33 is a fib number and also about the March low. Some schmo in there is telling people to wait to 18. Could be, but doubt it. That's not smart.

  • Yeah, that was the Imperial Purple. Worn by the Emperors. Actually if you weren't an Emperor or 'somebody" and you wore purple back then, you'd get wasted for doing so.

  • Royal purple

  • The purple paint came from a type of snail, they boiled these snails for weeks till they were totally fermented. Then the dye-er put some white cotton in this "soup" and when the wet cotton reacts with air it turns purple. This stuff smelled so bad these people lived outside the city.

Saw it in an episode of "Worst jobs in history", some brittish program.

  • EVEN NEFARIOUS JIM CRAMER SAID GOLD IS MONEY NOT A COMMODITY! YES, EVER HEARD OF SPICE TRADE DURING COLONIAL YEARS!

  • Good vid

  • Chris hope you feel better.

  • Thats why Mayor Bloomberg is going to cut Salt and Pepper out of the prison system diet to save cash, spices are still big money, the purple robe, the black tulip, the dot com stock, silver?? haha just kidding.

  • You need to research Peak Oil. You are terribly lacking in understanding the concept of Peak Oil. Everything you talk about is a sympton of Peak Oil. You are as ignorant of Peak Oil as you were of Economic collapse before you got yourself up to speed on that.

I'm not one of those people trying to "Wake people up". It's to late for that. the Die is cast & unless something can be found = to the dense energy of Liquid Fuels there will be no Recovery ever.

  • @quahogger316 I say that I am not happy and it makes me suspect of his intentions

  • chris what book are you reading that tells you about spices etc? it sounds interesting

  • @mysql0 didn't read that from a book. All you have to do is research history :) :) :)

  • @barnone11967 Ok since you didn't get it from a book, did you get the information from the internet?

  • @mysql0 i actually saw that on the discovery channel a year or two back. Sometime insomnia is a good thing

  • @quahogger316 it was considered the BLING BLING of the Roman Empire. Only the wealthiest of the wealthy could get it.

  • Guns, ammo, silver, and seeds!

  • @paweleve all excellent choices. :) Thank you for contributing :)

  • The maya traded Cacao nibs.

  • @paweleve good one. Forgot about that. The Spanish were obsessed with their cacao :) Good job ! !! ! :)

  • @barnone11967 I subscribed a couple of days ago, i am really liking your videos. Common sense is lost on many citizens of this great nation. Thank you for what you do.!

  • @paweleve Thank you very much, I appreciate that :) I am glad you subscribed :)
