Again, no one's saying Bert can't hit or beat the shit out of Moore. If Bert does anything but hit Moore from behind (ie: show common decency), said headache doesn't exist and Bertuzzi is perhaps still playing in Vancouver. It seems like a lot to go through just to hit a rook from behind, you know? Why sucker punch Richard Simmons if you're Mike Tyson? Even if he deserves it. He'll turn around, he has to, it's a rink, and you can just as effectively handle him. Why not?

How can someone know a hit's coming from behind? There's a difference between knowing you're despised and knowing a punch is coming. It is clear that Moore had no clue it was coming; for all any of us know, Moore might well have been expecting to get hit by someone- just not from behind and completely disconnected from the gameplay. And back to our other topic, it looks like we'll have a court date in a month or so. Bert is "fizzucked' as the urban dictionary might put it.

Moore had several warnings to fight. That's what I loved about the incident. People dont see why bertuzzi got so mad. Bertuzzi KNEW moore was purposely trying to avoid it all, and bertuzzi simply decided that behavior wasnt gonna fly. I respect bertuzzi a great deal for laying down the law. that way, it sent a message that you cant act like a pussy and avoid it all.
You cant villianize bertuzzi because moore got hurt because moore cant take a hit.
