  • @Podcast404 you are the thieves hahahaha you even stole the watch of the USA president remember? you are pathetic.

  • Pure Albanian

  • Everybody wants a piece of greece....Mpravo stous tsoliades!

  • Fustanella = ALBANIAN, Fustan=Dress (on albanian) ... what's the meaning in greek? watch and learn: watch?v=FszFtWN_LCc&feature=related

  • @Truejustice100 'Fousta' means 'dress' in Greek. But yeah the foustanella was adopted from the Albanians. I've read it in textbooks. However, who really cares? Most, if not all, elements of cultures are derived from another. Nothing is absolutely original.

  • @JonathanGiann you are wrong read correct history , do some research, as I done

  • @soNofLeoniDasandLas Wrong about what? What I read came from encyclopedias, not bullshit on the internet.

  • @JonathanGiann When you get your information on the internet the mistakes are plentiful . You will find the truth by doing research beyond the modern writers, because it is proven time after time that some pseudo historians continue to copy others who themselves had copy from some unethical historian with a nefarious agenda. Having done the research myself, and examining all the details,I have no doubt that this costume is 100% Greek , with roots in ancient Greece.

  • @JonathanGiann We did not copy from others because we had a very highly developed culture. To a person who knows history, and how human development progressed through the ages will agree with me.There were periods of stagnation, but almost everything has roots in ancient Greece, therefore others copy .It was a slow natural process, that is why people do not notice it right away.Through thousands of years those Greek ideals created the western culture, and thought that spread throughout the world

  • @soNofLeoniDasandLas I agree with you patrioti. Most elements of Western European culture have roots in Greece, but many traditions in the Balkan countries have been spread around during Ottoman times. There's no shame in adopting things. Besides, Greece has given more than it's taken.

  • @JonathanGiann I will tell you one thing, having studied in detail Greek history, and everything else that has to do with the Greek world from antiquity to the present, I cannot find one item that Greeks copy from the Ottoman Turks , even the tsiftetely dance that is common in the Balkans, and the middle east , is Gypsy , and not Turkish. Can you name one thing that we copied from the Turks? maybe there is one that I missed :)

  • @soNofLeoniDasandLas Well, I'm not sure. But the tsifteteli originated in India (which is where gypsies originated), so that makes sense. The only thing we can be sure about is Turkish coffee. Even though I think that was originally Arabic.

  • @JonathanGiann even the coffee is not Turkish, it originated in Africa , in Ethiopia , and Kenya to be exact. Through trade the Africans brought it to Yemen, and Egypt, and from there to Greece, Turkey etc.

  • @soNofLeoniDasandLas Yeah I know coffee itself originated in Africa, but that particular way of making coffee is Arabic I think. Telos panton, na 'sai kala.

  • @JonathanGiann it is not Arabic , Arabs prefer drinking tea, not coffee.

  • @Truejustice100 I suggest to you to go see ancient Greek vases from 600 B.C. and see the fustanela, or Greek kilt painted on those vases. Also there are ancient Greek marble statues depicting warriors, on these statues there is the kilt carved with the pleats identical to the one the evzones wear today. This specific statue is depicting a Greek warrior holding a bow.I had seen other ancient Greek statues with the fustanella . Albanians should accept these facts, nothing wrong to copy from Greeks

  • fustania with girls sensational, but guys with fustania, hey .... not a good look?????

  • @MrArvanit I don´t understand your sentence:"we came back".You think,Ioanina belongs Albanian people??The majority of population in Ioanina are Greeks.Whole world knows that.Maybe you wanted to say,Ioanina or Preveza should belong to Albania ??? Why? South of Ipiros land was allways Greek. In the past, Ottoman Empire attacked Greece, but Greeks got Ipiros free. That´s it. I say it again: whole world knows this.

  • @Gogi75at dont worry we see you later !!!!!

  • @MrArvanit

  • @Megalexandros78 RenaldoNjeshi seems to know what is writing. It obvious that this poeple are dancing albanian dance. If they would dance Sirtaki that would something greek maybe ,but this not .Chames are albanians and they will stay albanians

  • @Megalexandros78 ,

No dear, greece should be called Greece, and Albania should be called Albania as it is right now. What propaganda I am doing, what you think to talk about tsams is the prohibited apple? You suggest we stay mute??

  • boy i remeber those days when i used to dance just like em

  • @jeffanos ta'pes kala

  • συγχαρητηρια...το καλυτερο τσαμικο.

  • why putanesca spaggeti is called like that?

    is for putanes?

  • Tsamiko means dance of the Tsams or Chams. The Chams were Muslim Albanians who lived in Epirus and migrated towards the Peloponnesus. However, people must remember there is no such thing as Greek dances or Albanian dances or Serbian dances, because we all shared them together in unity as Orthodox Nations. The name meanings do not mean anything, they just mean that there was a common name for it.

  • @AkritesMakedonon .

At last one good response, that dont have at basis hate and racism.

    TY Akrites,

  • @RenaldoNjeshi

No problem. Greeks from Thessaly, Epirus, and Peloponnesus and Albanians have shared quite a lot in the past 400 years. Which is why the Arvanites chose to leave Albania to go to Thessaly, Epirus and Peloponnesus.

  • @AkritesMakedonon ,

Great writing. This have to be read from Albanians and Greek ultranationalist, the culture hasnt to do with the blind nationalism! Stealing has no meaning while talking for culture, diffusion is the key, the share is the spirit, our ppl (Greeks and Albanians) lived in peace until ottomans, we have to let aside what priests say and accept our good neighborhood.

  • this is it we fuck the albanian suckers they think they are greek no shit mothafuckas...go to your fuckin country sons of a biatch....cocksuckers greece is proud of her tradition.....albanian are all thiefs and so gay.....we fuck em anytime they should be happy of our hospitality and that we dont just kill those cave men

  • motha fuckin bullshit.....tsamiko is greek and only greek fuckin albanian only copy greeks....for example songs of epirous were stolen from the albanian....and the lyrics were transalated in albanian and they think that these songs are their property....

  • ΑΙΝΤΕ ΜΩΡΕ !!

  • Fustanela was mostly used by the Greeks who lived in Peloponesus (southern Greece). They have no connection with the Albanians. Fustanela is Greek.

  • @JamesGREEK26,

The ones that you call greeks, where orthodox arbanites(Arber,Arbanon), that give to greece independence.

  • @RenaldoNjeshi Do you know that the Arvanites self - identified as Greeks and that's why the nation they freed they called it Greece and not Albania??

  • @JamesGREEK26,

I know very well, most arvanites identify as greeks, but not are few those who have studied their culture, language, history, and self identify as Arbanites as a branch of albanians. I can mention you the nowday liders of Arbanites; Artidis Kolias. In century IXX was common in ottoman empire to call albanian muslims = turks, and albanian orthodox= greek, in this period took place albanian national renaissance, which divided religion from nationality among albanians.

    Thank you

  • Aristidis Kolias (Even his name is Greek Aristidis from the ancient Greek statesman) wrote among else that Arvanites are so strongly bonded with Greece that they cannot separated them from the rest of the Greeks simply cause their grandfathers had Albanian origin.....Stop isolate paragraphs and use them as propaganda.....

  • @Jeffanos ,

I had read the books of Mr.Kolias and had studied his cause, I am not supporting any propaganda, if arbanites choose to call themselves "greeks", let their choise be blessed, i dont judge them. I revealed this arguments for tsamiko $ foustanella origin.

  • Well there is nothing to argue then Arvanites prove with their actions what they bealive and nobody refuses that Greeks influenced by Albanians in some cultural elements. But we must accept that Albanians also influenced by Greeks in many ways.... All western world is influenced by Greeks and their way of thinking...

  • @Jeffanos ,

Since Albanians and Greeks are neighbors since late antiquity, its normal we have borrowed from each other. We have nearly the same customs, the same tradional wearings, the same music. I think we ppl of the XXI century, have to see this similarities to bond us not to make war and racism.

    Respect

  • @JamesGREEK26 What does the word FUSTANELA mean in greek????

If it is greek then explain it ,because in alabnian we know wery well what fustanela is and the meaning of this word.

  • pe apo pou einai t xoreutiko???pantws skizoun oi xoreutarades!!!!!

  • re paidia apo poia perioxi einai????pantws t paidia skizoun!!!!!!

  • τι λενε ρε οι σκατοαλβανοι.. αμα δεν ημασταν εμεις θα τρωγατε σκατα..

  • distihos....akomi skata trone

  • The only diference is that Tosks and Arvanites the founders of these dances don't want to have any conection to modern Albanians simply cause all these years consider themshelves Greeks cause they belonged to Greek Orthodox church.....

  • @Jeffanos

Tosks and Arvanites have Greek ancestors since ancient times (colonies of Corinth) and before like the Molosians, Thessalians, Makedonians, Epirotes etc. We are one ethnicity, divided by others. The names Tosks and Arvanites are names given to us by other peoples. Like the Romans who called us Graeca, etc. During the time of the Roman Empire some Greeks were Latinized more than others, eg. fall of Constantinople migrating Greeks into S. Italy, Venice, etc.

  • lol, those things look more like mini skirts ROFL

  • definitely not the dance... but i could see how this version of the fustanella could be called greek

    maybe easier back door access??

  • an amazing greek dance with amazing greek foustanelles

  • ΓΑΜΗΜΕΝΑ ΑΛΜΠΑΝΙΑ!!!

  • @kastriotian

departing FUSTANELLA is a greek lexic

in greece the fustanella are 400 folds means 400 years slavs of ottomans empire

the klarino is in greece has the antiquity!

why the name of albanian city s in northen epirus are greek GYROKASTRO SARANTA ...GYROKASTRO you know what tis means? gyro turn kastro castle

  • @kastriotian It's funny how you call it a "foustanella". But you know what? You can have it. It's gotta be the most flamboyantly gay outfit, along with that dance. Watching this makes me sick. What happened to Greek culture? The ancient Greeks are spinning in their graves.

  • We are proud to be ALBANIAN blood, blood of Alexander the Great, Pyrrhus, Teuta, Gjergj Kastrioti, the histori of Balkan speak just for albanian until 1850. You are a nation mixed with Slavs, Asians, Albanians and you have nothing in common with the ancient Greeks, have adapted the traditions of our blood. You must vergon for the stupidity that were short-story around, these are not your traditions .....

  • @enkeledi ONE I CAN SAY YOU FOR SURE ..ALBANIA IS NOTHING ,WHEN WE HAD CULTURE THEY EAT LIVE ANIMALS ..THE END!HOPE I HELP!!ALVANARA

  • @enkeledi Albania was founded out of a collection of cultures that inhabited the Balkans at the time with the majority being ethnic 'Albanians' many cultural things that existed in other countries were brought into the mainstream culture of that country. the Tsamiko dance is undoubtedly of Greek origin and even has a Greek name. People in the Balkans need to understand they don't 'own' everything about their culture. This may once have been the case but after Ottoman rule everything was mixed.

  • @enkeledi Are you an idiot?

  • @enkeledi

what the fuck are you talking about you idiot albanian asholl? ALL THESE SONGS ARE GREEK FROM THE AGE OF 1821... • @dimired1 Μπραβο ρε αδερφεε...!!!!!!!!

  • @dimired1 All this culture, is almost the same in the Balkans because we were approximately 400 years under Turkish occupation. We gave and took characteristics from them. if you have ever noticed, the Illyrian Tsamiko is the same with Epirotic Tsamilko. Also Thracian Dances are almost the same with Bulgarian Dances, and some Thessalian Dances or Pontian are almost the same with Turkish. It's not bad to accept that, we as Greeks have almost the same tradition with other Balkanian Peoples.

  • @dimired1 age 1821 exactly whhahaha. exactly when albanian souliote freed you from the turks. in your indepencdence war and brought you this music and folklore.. whahahahah this is the real camiko../watch?v=3dcksjUoSUA

  • @agon1984 fanatic nationalist!!!

  • @71nasta no no, you greek are number 1 in nationalism . i am just fanatic. in defending my people and our folklore. tsamiko. is from cam albanians they danced this dance. we have many dances you have just 1 or 2 both copie frm albanians

  • @dimired1 oh please its Albanian and you fucking know it...

  • @dimired1 watch?v=DKSS4-sQAkM

  • @dimired1 Idiot the name of song its tsamiko and not greek, the tchamis are albanian.I am tcham and i come from mazarakia. One day mazarakia and all chameria will be albania...

  • @podcast404 Learn history idiots. Tsamides were Greek from Thamis , some mix with Albanians , but these dances as with all Ipiros dances are Greek, you copy a lot from the Greeks , including the polifwnic singing that has ancient Greek roots. We have thousands of years of documented Greek history. You Albanians-most of you- have no honor to admit the truth, you are liar propagandists, your moral compass is near zero.

  • PURE GREEK MUSIC!!!!! GREECE IS WONDERFULL WITH HER WONDERFULL TRADITIONAL MUSIC!!!!

  • @dimired1 this is not the way camiko is made, you morons. with your mini skirts.. tihs is camiko /watch?v=3dcksjUoSUA

  • @dimired1 its albanian costums not greek, ancient hellens didnt dance like this hahahahhaha

  • @korca8albania you are an ignorant uneducated person. I am a historian, but most of all I cherish the truth, unlike you foolish propagandists. The foustanela is ancient Gleek , the kilt worn by warriors thousands years old . They found an ancient Greek statue from 550 B.C.and shows clearly the kilt, "foustanela " carved with the pleats , identical to the one worn by Greeks today. This statue depicted a warrior holding a bow. Albanians copied everything it seems . You are pathetic assholes.

  • @soNofLeoniDasandLas to be exact the foustanela had 100 layers. i think i still have my great grandfathers one.

  • @koringn My great grandfather was the leader of the ebzones, and we still have his foustanela of very high quality with a sword the salaxi, and the tsarouxia.... the Albanians copy it from us, If you look at ancient paintings on vases, and some sculptures you will see the foustanela clearly , with the pleats as is today.Albanians better stop trying to steal Greek culture as their own, they look foolish to people who know history. The Arbanites are 100% Greek Ipirotans . Albanians are pathetic.

  • @soNofLeoniDasandLas i know but they are and always will be jelous of our rich culture and the great things greeks have given to the world.

this is why we must fight to get them of our lands and take back what is ours (agia sofia).

orthodoxy is and always will be the right way in life the true faith for thousands of years.

  • @korca8albania YEA ANCIENT GREEKS HAD MANY DANCES NOT ONE, AS THEY DO TODAY. THESE DANCES ARE GREEK AS THE DANCES OF PONTOS THE ISLANDS, KRETE, MACEDONIA ETC. GREEK HISTORY, AND MUSIC IS VAST. DO NOT FORGET WE HAVE A HISTORY OVER 6.000 YEARS OLD, AND WE STILL SPEAK THE SAME LANGUAGE, AND DANCE THE SAME DANCES. THE UNIVERSAL WORD FOR MUSIKI, IS MUSIC A GREEK WORD. SO IS DRAMA, THEATRO, THEATER... KOMODIA, COMEDY... ETC. .. ALBANIANS COPIED FROM THE GREEKS..... Socratis said "truth is a virtue"

  • @soNofLeoniDasandLas hahahgagagagaga bs

  • @korca8albania not bs at all , accept the truth .... truth is a virtue

  • @korca8albania You going to tell me a Greek, and a historian we did not dance like this? lol you are an ignorant person. Greeks had 100 s of Dances , some had different movements depending on the area, and at the different time periods , as some dances evolved through thousands of years, do not forget Greek history is over 6.000 years old.some ancient dances are depicted in vase paintings from ancient times , and are identical with dances today.. Yes tsamiko, is ipirotan Greek. You copy that too

  • @soNofLeoniDasandLas this are arvanites/albanian dances, "greeks" have no concetion to this dances what so ever, this is pure albanian culture you should look more to egypt and iran but mostly turkey

  • @enkeledi Arbanites are Greek Ipirotans from ancient times , yes some speak both Albanian, and Greek that does not make them Albanian. Some people for example who live close to each other, and interact on a daily basis learn both languages. It is very normal, you could see it in many poliethnic Countries, or cities around the world

  • @enkeledi Learn some history to understand why the Greek Arbanites of Ipiros spoke Albanian and Greek. The reason they spoke Albanian was because they lived in close proximity , and sometimes in the same Greek towns in north Ipiros as they still do to this day. When two different ethnic groups live close to each other they learn each others language to communicate when they trade goods, or for general trivial conversation. This is happening throughout the world. Arvanites are Greek Ipirotans.

  • @enkeledi you have to many unanswered questions my friend , I will try to answer you these questions , so you can find the truth. You ask why the Arbanites speak Albanian. They speak Albanian because in
