There is nothing else. This engine is what you hear. It was situated in the steam room at the Anson engine museum at the time of recording and nothing else was running there. The room echoes a bit which would explain the confusion.
The sound of this engine reminds me of hte scene from Das Boat, in the engine room when the U-boat's engines are running flat out. I'd swear they sound the same?
What's running in the back ground because it isn's this engine i can hear!

Sounds like a four cylinder rather than a single. Must be the speed it runs at? Great engine though.

Video sounds funny for the enghine size. More like a small diesel. Seems to be running nicely though. Is this the Iver?
