I was there, the fireworks fucking ruined it. They went off for like 10 minutes and kept messing up the song. They were not meant for Radiohead but rather an event going on at soldier field behind the stage area. The whole set that night was a let down and I havent been to a show since. But again, who cares what I think.

That's fucken bad ass! I so wish I was there! I'll be seeing Radiohead on August 24th, I hope they bring the fireworks.

The concert was amazing. However good luck with the fireworks. These fireworks weren't even planned or for Radiohead. They were actually for a bears event happening at soldier field(which is right behind the stage.) so the fireworks were all luck. AND THEY WERE PERFECT. It fit the concert so perfectly, you would think it was planned. Just so beautiful and amazing, I loved it. Best Concert of Lollapalooza. Heck, Best Concert Ever!

thats false. most of their shows were in amphitheaters where the majority of the crowd wouldn't be able to see fireworks anyway. And i saw fake plastic trees OUTDOORS a week later and there were no fireworks.
