@anime4evr2 hey up good question, you can get them on amazon, oddballs website most places online HOWEVER I honestly just recommend getting them from a local toy store, general store, they usually sell bean bags their in packs of three, the balls I'm using in this vid are from a general store in Scotland any balls will do just make sure they are all the same size and weight :)
@scottishguy100 ok cheers. Can i ask roughly how long it took you to juggle confortably? i've practiced about 4-5 hours and can do 5-7 throws/catches decently....but cant break the mental barrier to go further
@scottishguy100 let me tell you something my friend, if you can do three ball cascade, 5-7 catches in only 4-5 hours you did better than me it took me weeks to even get up to three it didn't come easy you are ahead of the game :). when I finally got three balls I like you got 5-7 catches but I just kept practicing it took me just over a week to do it fluently but I know people who have taken two! it will come just relax and keep on juggling :)
@scottishguy100 I want to learn to juggle since I read it improves hand-eye co-ordination is this true? also I can do it with two balls... but not three, it just gets confusing and I end up trying to throw it too fast to keep it in the air and it just ends up in a mess... what do you think about the hand eye co-ordination thing?
@pixelsblack hey up, firstly yes :) it does improve hand eye co-ordination and exercises your brain just like any task that involves this level of concentration will :). I can honestly say I'v been there! it gets confusing with the third ball for sure took me ages to finally get it believe me I am one of those guys it came naturally to. my advice slow it all down!!! throw your first two higher which gives you more time for the third, just focus one ONE cascade i.e balls changing hands once :)
Not a biggie, but I find I learn best from a tutorial vid where a voiceover is added over the top and the person actually doing the juggling stays silent ( +usually sound qual is better if the speaking is done later) just a thought - very good video otherwise :D
thankyou all for your lovely comments I am going to get more videos up soon, I don't have to reply to all comments but they are appreciated and if they have helped you learn to juggle then I am a happy guy :) keep juggling
Thank you. My nine-year-old son is desparately trying to learn to juggle and gets frustrated when a ball drops...Thank you for telling him that balls drop when you juggle and it's just part of life...and to keep on. Regards!!!

Thankyou, this is BY FAR, the easiest tutorial to follow, I'm not sure why, I think it's 'cos you have a great way of telling us how. I appreciate that. Greetings from the Isle of Wight! :)
Hi I am just doing the three ball cascade and am having trouble. I have been practicing for around a month and am still having trouble. My throws are never where I want them to be. I have no problem with the catch part, but as I said, my throws don't have the required accuracy. It is really frustrating and I am working really hard. Any help?
Thanks, I am glad someone likes it, I had recieved a few comments in which they thought my accent was horrible. At least you appreciate a good scottish accent lol.
I am so glad that you have learned from my video. It gives me a great sense of achievment known that someone has benefited from my instruction. Good luck with the juggling.
This is a great tutorial. I have been trying to juggle for some time, but never get past the two ball stage. This is fantastic, you are a great teacher :) Thank you for posting this.
thanks JackalxM, I know that some instruction booklets explain it in confusing ways, its much better to watch somone doing it, glad you liked the video, 5/5 what a compliment.
Great explanation! Thanks for taking the time to put this up, scottishguy. I learned by using lacrosse balls. They're sold in 3-paks in sporting goods stores; they're also heavy enough to work with but not heavy enough that you get tired after long sessions of practice.
Nice one, I am from Scotland too and trying to master the juggling!

scottishguy100 2 years ago
does it matter if I don't throw the balls up really high? I find it easier to catch them if I don't throw them too high.
