@TheChrisglasgow loool...well i played rome,medieval,medieval 2 and i can tell you that its in between. There is a narrator giving some very good tips when you first start out...trust the battles are amazing, when engage heavy infantries into enemy unit of infantries and see them fight and you realise you have a cavalry charge awaiting your order you take them and ravage the enemy from behind...good satisfactions...

Its fun although it was the game I played the least in the TW series. Its not horribly complicated. in fact its less complicated than an RTS as you have less to think about at once. Its turn based strategy(think civilization except one time period) and real time battles.

When you recorded this, the game was still DX9 right? Or you recorded it after the patch that enabled DX11?

Just asking because i got a GTX580 too, and i'm doing about 40~45fps average using DX11 and almost everything maxed out (used fraps benchmark).

Just wanted to know if that's good or not.

Even on the ships when there is A LOT of archers, still misses the enemies on the other ship : D

i think this game not only is GPU intensive but it's also CPU intensive. i heard that it uses all extra cores on your CPU so quad core and hexa core really help in this type of game

@MrThejoker6000 Yes, only thing holding that build back is the graphics card. You should be playing at 1024x768 or 1280x1024 at low or medium settings. Though they say at low settings it still looks great.

i have a gtx 580 i ran this game max armies bout 2500 vs 2500 zoomed in to fighting ground level and got at the lowest point 7 fps and avg 20-30

zoomed out its 80ish

is this around the same as what you got? coz im surprise how difficult this game is to run smoothly

@nicholson313 a GTX 560 should run this game with ultra settings with 30fps average. So a GTX 570 should run with 35fps average or a bit lower. I am not sure, but that is what I think.
