Use your brain: I'll assume you're a rider. What is more likely, that this 160hp, 530lb motorcycle is slow, or that he was giving it a lot of throttle in a high gear?
Guys, the sound of this bike is AWESOME, you know this... I like the styling, especially the body work out of black carbon fiber. I would pay 20k for an American sport touring bike that was high quality. How is the heat coming off those exposed cylinder heads? Also I was thinking that going with a carbon fiber theme, those pipes wrapped in black heat tape from the heads back would be a very nice touch. Keep up the good guys, I really like this bike...
It sounds as if it will explode at any minute .... ! That means its fast ...! Its been my experance in motorcycle/moto-X racing that an engine will run its best and fastest right before disaster .... KA BOOOOM ....! If you want to know what it sounds like .. Put a hand full of loose change , 5 golf balls ... ah .. spoon, a knife and a fork, and a pair of old steel toed Red Wing boots in a cloths dryer and turn on ........ You will get the picture
Exactly. I don't know where the hell so many people have become convinced this bike slow based purely on a clip where they don't know the gear or level of throttle applications. It's a 160hp bike that weighs less than just about every other sport tourer on the market.
@Timmafod Yea man I wouldn't judge the motor's capability off of that one little bit of clip... He was probably in like fourth gear doing 50 mph. From what I've seen/read so far (very, very little) I think this bike could actually have big potential for success.
I love the sound. Much better than the BMW K 1600 GT. I love the bike. The naked MST-R looks great, I would love to see a side view.I hope your weight is accurate(500lbs) and hop the power is conservative. The K 1200 GT is 158hp & 130lb-ft.
Nice....that engine sounds amazing. You need to place that go pro on a few more locations and take some action shots of the bike in motion (and put on the vented back cover- SOUND!)
Looks better like this than with the fairing. IMHO.

I did about the same WOT in my Aprilia with the same effect, but I was in 3rd gear or so. I think that's the same situation here.

Come on guys, can't you take 5 minutes to fix the audio mixing for the debut video of your new bike and its V4 engine?
I hope it's a good bike. Would love to have an American sport-touring bike.

It's nice to see an American motorcycle company that's innovating, and doing something new. Hell of a lot better than H-D's ugly, obsolete garbage.

Nice. I love it. Just a bit surprised with all that motor it didnt lift the front end at WOT at 40secs in and at the pass at the end.
