She does play everything in an almost over dramatic manner. I am bipolar and I find that she is almost over doing the manic episodes. But a lot of that is in the writing and not so much her.

yeah my moms bipolar too..... and I reckon Silver (Jessica Stroup) and Dixon and other actors did a good job... you kinda got to see everyones point of view in the situation and I'm glad that they showed the after effects of what happens with her... not just her being "manic" but how she deals with it all and how other people treat her. I think this is the first main stream type show that has dealed with this disease as a whole and made people more aware of it which I'm happy about.
