this method remove permanent the red dot? or just for a little bit of time?

i have a benq led monitor

  • You can use google to find that program. Notice it says DPT? Put in the Google seach box: DPT PIXEL. You will then see the 'Dead Pixel Tester''. These things are simple with a bit of applied intelligence.

  • i had one struck pixel but it dissapeared on itself after like a day

  • pls someone send me a link to this program pls !!!!!

  • Did that pixel stuck again? Does this fix lasts "forever"?

  • what if you have a whole row.

  • It would be a connector problem instead.

  • then u should be able to replace it regardless like i can't return it to the store because they have a policy for only LCD monitors with 7 dead/stuck pixels

  • @l33tazoraus If you have a whole row, not a clump of them like a ball, then the manufacturer HAS to replace it based on the legal limit for stuck pixels, which is 50 for the WORST cheap-brand monitors, and an entire row is more than 50.

Most manufacturers will replace anything over 5 stuck pixels, while top of the line brands replace if you have any at all. Hope I helped a little.

  • learn to spell, congratulations

  • This worked twice but the stuck pixel allways comes back and now it wont go away ;__;

  • same as mine. it comes back on a black screen.

  • I have a pixel that i can only see on a black background. It changes colors depending on which angle you're looking at it from. It looks either red, purple-ish, or blue or white (I don't know if that's due to it being TN?) Anyway, I've tried everything on this and I don't really know what to do. Could just be the unfortunate pixel that I can't un-stuck or could it be a dead pixel?

  • A dead pixel is black and will always remain black.

  • not always

  • If DPT doesn't work there is a video here in youtube that has rapidly changing colors play it and drag the video to the stuck pixel, and then you can do the massage that works for me

  • thanks dude it worked on my 22" viewsonic hd lcd i used the dpt and my pda stylus and rubbed it for 1-2 minutes and its gone

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH! I bought a 21' Widescreen and two days later I got a stuck pixel. Did exactly what you did in the movie and 20 seconds later, gone. THANKS DUDE!

  • DPT doesn't work in vista, it tells me that the DEP or some windows control crap is closing it.

  • this shit doesn't fucking work

  • this needs to be done on a WARM monitor, not a cold one. can anyone help? i can fix the pixel but everytime i turn the monitor off for a while and it cools down i have to fix it again.

  • Fantastico è riuscito a recuperare un pixel morto

  • BiG ThankS

  • Thanks, I used a cloth and my three fingers and brute force, and pixel is working (dont know for how long)

  • Where can i download dpt?

  • nice

  • THNX MAN! It works!

I bought today an Asus VW221D, and I was shocked when I say a red stucked pixel in the center of the screen. I used the DPT, and a rounded plastic thing, and I gently pressed the screen...after 5 seconds voila, the stucked pixel disappaired! Thank you again!

  • I tried the same program as you, Massaged the pixel but didnt help. Do you have any tips? Should I press the liquid toward the pixel or away from it? I really need help :)

  • I got a red dot on my screen, it's also visible when monitor is turned off. could be scratch or stuck pixel. I did have a red pen and touched the screen with that. It's still there, are stuck pixels visible with LCD turned off ?

  • If you wind any method, let me know

  • you need Exorcism to Fix Stuck Pixel

  • Is Sick lookn this video!
