Wat the fuck handling on the ZR, ZS, & ZT is fucking awesome I owned 3 ZR's every range 1 ZS V6 and 2 ZT's the V8 and the CDTI brilliant cars also had the run of the mill overated golf GTI, GTTDI, A3 sline etc too and a dozen more alike. Always enjoyed the ZR just buying another one tomorrow woo hoo

The BMW MINI's steering rack is taken straight out of the Rover 200 (the car the ZR is based on), why is it so great in that?

what the?? the only reasonable guy on 5th gear is the guy with the beard... THE ZR has bad steering??? Anyone who can appreciate good driving can tell that the 3 best steering feelings in the class were mini cooper (again Rover built it), alfa 147 and mgzr. How wrong they were the British Motoring Press and Broadcasters! the MG Zr was the best selling Hot hatch for sale in this country! and the industry was not supported by the press or the Government even when MG/Rover was making money, what a real shame we didnt have more pride in our industry and jobs, ive still got my ZR and wont part with it....

Oh I could go on all night about the motoring media,the are millions of barmy comments like.."the Honda Accord zips to 60mph in a respectable 10 seconds,the Rover 800 is grossly underpowered, it drags it's self to 60 in 9 seconds"..eh? "the Rover 75 is living in the past with all this wallnut and chrome". (ten minutes later).. The is a good youtube vid of Clarckson raving on about the mk 2 Rover 800 how good it is , befor his brain become contaminated with bull before he became a clever ass,he liked everything about it but wasn't sure about the size? don't know what that meens?? and the chrome grille, 1 year later every car maker as usual copied Rover and put a chrome grille on the cars even Skoda!! lol-lol! THEN he said"the seats are increadibley comfy". now the clever ass would say oh there too soft no support?
