i think that the design icons on nokia is absolutely ludicrous!

i used to love and owned previous models and versions eg.5200,6500,n82,n78,now with this design I will jus simply buy an iphone.

icons are ok, but nokia should fire their phone designers team entirely. 90% of nokia phones have made with no design at all.

I love the 3D icons introduced with the 6230i. It's a pitty that the Icons on my N78 are all mixed together with those new Comic-icons. That's not very consistent :(

Is Rob Williams the person to blame for the horribly ugly icons that come out of the box on the E71? I understand that this is a discussion on the recognition of symbols, but then they need to toss it to someone who can DESIGN AN ATTRACTIVE icon. Mr. Williams - it isn't you.

That's hard to judge, when I changed from 6680 (s60 2nd) to E50 (s60 3rd), the first idead I had when I saw new icons was, that they looks bad, but after 1 month when I turned on my old 6680, I realised that the new icons looks better, modern... It's subjective, of course, but the technology is heading up all the time, and it's necessary to change design to futuristic way.

PS: I checked out icons on E71 and they're really ugly ;D but it's able to change them, you could check them before buying.

hire 1-2 designer from apple or blackberry or

kelvin clain/paul smith fashion desinger

the icons in Nokia software update is well designed
