Interesting reading the Mark Frith (Heat editor)book about what went on.All the inside gossip was sold to them by Pete's Mum, Pete told Heat he was dumping Nikki 2 weeks before he told her,they had to keep pestering Pete to tell Nikki as the deadline was looming and even Heat were not mean enough to go to print until he had. Frith seemed to think that Pete/his Mum had orchestrated the split to earn him as much money as possible.
bullshit, i'm petes little brother, i spent a week with nikki, she was awful, he didn't say anything, she phoned up one day, she asked him "do what want to call it a day?" and he said yes, and cherry wasn't his ex :s a good friend but not an ex lol. your telling me your on the media's side? my mum had nothing to do with it, she didn't give a fuck about making money, i hate all of this shit stirring and all these rumours, they didn't go well together so they broke up, thats all,
...and yet one of Pete's mates was selling pics of Pete and Cherry as an "official couple" which he/she admitted were taken the day after Pete sold the "why I dumped Nikki" story to Heat ...two days after the phonecall where they split (I saw the pics myself)....and Pete tried to keep that relationship quiet for a couple of weeks as he knew how it would look to the media.
Perfectly fine for Pete to dump Nikki..it happens...but lets not make Pete out to be some innocent.
