There wouldn't be enough friction there to start a fire by itself, and there is not enough oxygen to keep such a fire from dissapating immediately.

There are stars but the quality of the video, once uploaded to youtube, isn't great and because of this it kind of blacks out the stars. if you look at the first few seconds of the video you can see a few faint stars near the bottom of the screen.

A visage like this could occur in space if an asteroid were exposed to a super-extreme radiation source for an extended period of time then thrust into motion. The "fire" would be a tail caused by the object slowly vaporizing, though it might not be orange depending on the object's composition. I'm not sure such a thing has ever been observed, but I'm pretty sure it's possible.

A meteor is NOT ice. A meteor is a rock that burns when it hits earths atmosphere. You're thinking of a comet.

Yea a comet is made of almost completely iced gases, but meteors have ice around a rock and iron centre. Even if it does get in the atmosphere, it is still ice vapour coming off it, no fire but alot of heat and light at the nucleus of it. It would be like a light bulb, its still hot but it aint on creating a huge fire
